Good. Pay more interest. Accumulate less equity.
First:
Jack Ruby walking through line of police at Dallas PD and sticking his pistol into Lee Harvey Oswald’s gut and firing, thereby killing John F Kennedy’s assassin. Saw it live on TV.
Second:
Sitting in Econ class a few months prior to the above, when the school wide Public Announcement system came on the classroom loudspeaker and announced that President Kennedy had been shot and was being taken to a Dallas hospital.
My first thought was that Lyndon Johnson would not be capable of running the country, so who could take over for the vice-president to run the country. My immediate second thought was a reaction to the fact that
all of the other people in the class except the professor stood up and cheered, very glad that JFK had been killed. Remember that was in 1963 when the ongoing struggles to integrate the schools and universities were being met with extreme hostility throughout LA, ARK, MISS and the rest of the south. LSU was one the first southern uiversities to accept even a few token Black students.

“he is a failure, at least as a college qb, and he was groomed for this gig, has had every opportunity to succeed but just doesn't have the goods to bring to the table“
You’re blaming Nuss because he doesn’t hasn’t lived up to your expectations. Nuss is a good ball player. Your disappointment results from the error in your expectations. Happens to investors, analysts, sportswriters all the time. Don’t blame the stock market or the ball player, the error is in your forecasting abilities. Nobody is right about the future all the time.

We’ve got a game in a few days with Bama. We’re not going to play it without a coach, and we’re not going to cancel it. We have a coach, possibly Verge, possibly a temp. We also have a new coach that will take
over in ‘26 who we cannot announce because he has not yet terminated his current position at Washington, Ole Miss, Texas, Penn State, Bama, or you name it. The coach for the upcoming remainder of the ‘25 Season, however, can and should be announced rather than withheld any longer for fear of negative reaction, which is the current posture of the LSU athletic department. Administrators, grow a pair.

Rough time. Hang in there. Prayers for you.
There has been an attitude on this board that Saban made LSU. His last significant game before coming here was a loss to the Tigers in the Shreveport Bowl and only a fair record at MSU.
The actuality was that LSU made Saban, not the reverse.

But the most serious of his many mistakes may be his treatment of strength coach Tommy Moffitt
The mistake that accounts for the lack of running success by weakening the OL. With the running game weakened much easier to defend Nuss and the passing attack.

I wouldn't trade my boot camp experience for anything.
Ditto, best decision of my life, and it still has effects on my attitudes and positivity about life now 63 years later! The details of what you can learn about life and yourself in 3 months on Parris Island can’t be run through in a few words on Tiger Droppings. I am sure that there are Marines who feel years later that they made the wrong decision in opting for the Corps, but I haven’t met any.
My initial boot camp platoon strength was 72 recruits, and about 24 did not make it to graduation. Some of those were “set back” to another platoon in an an earlier phase of the training cycle, and eventually graduated, .. some were discharged for the good of the Corps, because of lack of physical or emotional fitness and did not become Marines. All learned something valuable about themselves. I would love to find my Senior DI just to say “Thank You Sir”. SFMF!

Based on the most recent data from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in their 2024 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report (reporting data from 2022), there were, on average, 17.6 Veteran suicides per day.
This is only relevant if there are other groups for comparison. What is the average suicide rate for insurance agents? Police? Attorneys? Salespeople? Uber drivers?…..

Some of these riots didn’t exist. Lafayette for example.
Tell me about the repetitive appearances of quotes from ChatGPT on the TigerDroppings Discussion Boards.

“ The TigerRannt Board is for why the LSU football team will never win a national championship because of the ineptitude of all past, current and future coaches. Although Ole Miss and Alabama have fired their football coaches and replaced them with transgender DEI hires, these teams will have an ongoing supremacy over the Tigers,
That is all of the information that I can provide because I am occupied sucking OwlFan’s nuts. Interestingly, this poster has not one nor two, but seven testicals, each in a djjerent shade of the rainbow.”
