If Big Ten expands again, who does SEC need to add?

I would think Clemson and FSU make the most sense
And spare me Fla and USC blocking that move.

Why would we block Clemson or FSU?

No need to add anyone else
The 16 team SEC is stronger than an 18 team big ten

Make UNC/UVA say no. When they do, FSU/Clemson.

The Big Ten's addition of PAC schools doesn't really impact the SEC. I think the SEC is going to be done expanding at 20, and all four of those additional schools will come from the ACC. But the ACC is locked down through 2035 unless a majority of those school vote to dissolve the grant of rights and/or the conference.
We all know it's just a matter of time until Clemson and FSU join the SEC. A Carolina school and a Virginia school are likely candidates to pair with them. From there, further expansion just doesn't make sense. Not enough games in a college football season, nobody left who really increases payout per school, continue to diminish conference identity, etc.

I would think your opinion is stupid.

You don't want this. They are a strange lot.

I doubt the SEC or the Big Ten expand again
The pie can only be so big and adding more fingers just reduces the payout.
That being said I think the conferences are more likely to reduce in the coming years

My guess is that conferences will grow to 20-24 and then you’ll see smaller divisions in each and we’ll basically revert back to a mix of the old regional conference model under a conference umbrella.
So the SEC might look something like this:
East:
Virginia
UNC
USCe
Georgia
Florida
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Florida State
Clemson
West:
Texas
Texas A&M
LSU
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Missouri
Ole Miss
Mississippi State
Auburn
Alabama
You go up to 24 and could break it in to three 8 team divisions too.

The B1G will take what it wants from the Acc and leave the scraps. This will give it a southern foothold. Planting the B1G flag in the south will be huge.
The SEC playing checkers while the B1G is playing chess.

You idiots took two schools from the west coast that only cause scheduling nightmares. Enjoy trying to stay awake until midnight for games being played out there. And those Cali kids don’t want to play at schools in the north. They either stay out west or come to the south

How many football titles has this led to for the Big Ten in the 21st century?

North Carolina, VT, UVA, and NC State

lol, don't be silly. Our broadcast partners will not put Ohio State or Michigan on that late. USC/UCLA vs Ohio State will be prime-time games.

The Big Ten is already laughed at down here (how many titles in the last 50 years?)
The SEC has lapped the Big Ten in basically everything. That is not going to change. So enjoy your Big Ten titles, because there is no way the Big Ten is going to win national titles.

What a joke, you guys have been messing up CFB to try and get your way since the 80's. If history is an indication you keep moving in desperation and fall farther behind. Notre Dame (the school you covet) still is not in the B1G. You are like the guy with the flash car trying to bang the hot chick but they are too smart and not just have a big ego and a tiny peen.

Time is on the side of the ACC and SEC.
Just look at your history ....
Michigan State wins MNC's in CFB as IND, have not won a Natty since
Penn State wins MNC's in CFB as IND, have not won a Natty since
Nebraska win's MNC's in CFB, join the B1G and dying on the vine
As an observer not drinking the KoolAid up there, you guys have seriously underperformed since the CFA formed to break from you guys and the PAC. Not one school in either conference joined the CFA. Now it is all coming home to roost and I am really enjoying it.
All the eyeballs in the world can't help a crappy product.

USC to Rutgers should be an enjoyable trip.
