14-1 is 14-1. Clemson would have been pre-BCS title winner based on only undefeated regular season.

bama basically exploited a loophole in the rules b/c i think a kicking team catching the ball they kick is dumb. i think there should be a rule that somebody on the receiving team has at least touch the ball before a kicking team can recover it.

if a person on the kicking team can catch the kicked ball before it hits the ground, the kicking team is far too close to the receiving team.

They will count it as another NC anyway since Dabo is an alumnus...

You realize by your logic Bama is already the National Champ this year and it doesn't matter if Clemson wins the upcoming game

how is that my logic if Clemson wasn't the title winner last year?

i'm just pointing out Alabama fans act like they didn't lose last year. you lost one game just like Clemson did, and at home. and Clemson would have been national champs in the pre-BCS era. this kind of undermines your dynasty talk.

These are two great teams going against each other. Bama has a ton of pressure on them while Clemson does not. The game will be epic.

If they win, they win. The world will keep spinning.

It would be good for journalists because it would give them the chance to run with the mantra that Saban's time at the top is over and what a mistake it was to let Kiffin go (it wasn't, win or lose).

Bama has dealt with that pressure for years now. Every week. We get everyone's best shot. It won't be an issue.

I think you are confusing a team that isnt an every year winner. A team like boise st when they played Oklahoma or Utah when they played Alabama. Those teams felt the pressure.

Alabama and especially Nick Saban has been on the big stage so often that it is business as usual. They are everyone's Super Bowl.

When LSU finally beats Alabama again the field will get rushed. If we beat them in Alabama they will probably run to tiger stadium and tear the field goals down and burn stuff.

Alabama players, coaches and fans are used to winning.

Clemson is much tighter than Alabama because its been several decades since they have hoisted a Natty.

Damn they are on to loophole that allows Bama to win games. Time to take our chargers and go home.

Seriously though, tremendous job to get to this point. If Clemson wins I will be disappointed sure, but was still a great season. Would like to see Dabo win one, hopefully not against Alabama though.

wut? he looked terrible to me in the bama game and USC game. lol

Ok.

You asked who the best passing qb Bama faced was. I said Browning from Washington. I know he looked like shite against Bama's defense, that's typically what they do.

Not going to happen. Saban has never been beaten by more than 2 TDs in his time at Bama.

Not that I think Alabama is going to lose, but the pressure that is now on Saban, not to mention Sarkisian is off the charts for this upcoming NC game. There is no margin of error, and Clemson will be up for the challenge even more since it is a rematch from last year. Should Clemson upset Alabama in this epic game, there will be a comeplete meltdown for Alabama it's fans and the media. Clemson will be much looser going into this epic matchup, but until Alabama can get beat, the pressure they must be under to continue to win and not lose is unbelievable, and historic in any sport.
Alabama is everybody's Super Bowl, pal. They get everybody's best shot....every game, and have been for a bunch of years! Alabama relishes this type of environment..they come alive in it and are able to test their own capabilities with it. It's better than sex to the majority of their players because this is the type of Alpha male that wants to come and compete against the best just to be able to get on the field during games.
Pressure?....shite!!...this is FUN to these guys.....and they won't be denied their fun!

Like the recruiter told Aubrey Solomon, "come and play for us, or go and get beat by us...your choice."
