This was my first thought. He is already the best coach in history. He could lose 2-3 games a year and not feel pressure

I don't *think* there would be a huge meltdown, though it would heavily depend on the way in which Bama lost. If it was because of something so freakin avoidable that the offense did causing Clemson to score multiple times or something, then there would be frustration from the Bama fanbase...but I don't think it would be a "melt" quite like the OP is predicting.

I'm not going to be disappointed at all if Alabama wins or loses, as I live and work in Alabama and observe daily how people eat drink and breathe Alabama football, and I get it.
Just making an observation on what I think
Might happen with a lot of Alabama fans in general, if they get upset after such an epic season.
I'm an SEC fan for this game.
