Watson had 580 yards passing on Pitt on like 55 out 70 pass attempts. If Watson has 580 yards passing on Alabama, it is an easy win. Pitt had a much more balanced offense than Bama, and they got bailed out with some bad calls on 3rd and long passes.

NC State game , our RB Gallman was knocked out early in the game. and NC State does have a good defense as Vanderbilt found out.

i'm not sure what was bad about Clemson's performance at FSU. that is a good team and Clemson beat them on the road.

the pressure that is now on Saban, not to mention Sarkisian is off the charts for this upcoming NC game.

This is just dumb. Saban could lose every game from now until 2018 and he would still be the most in demand coach in college football.

Alabama just can;t keep this up forever. Our QB is very young and I think the Clemson defense will be able to stop the run and force him to throw the ball. We will either win by a nose or possibly get blown out. Should be a great game.

Exactly how I feel. This is going to be a brutal game ~ Clemson will shake up Hurts and our defense will shake up Watson. The difference is Watson can recover and make plays where Hurts is a greenhorn right now and it is understandable if the pressure to produce gets to him.

I can't imagine how nervous I would be....An 18 yr old True-frosh taking a 14-0 Alabama team to the National Championship. Yikes!

They may be more balanced, but they aren't nearly as talented.

Vandy's offense is putrid. They scored less than 20 points 8 times this year.

70 pass attempts

There will be a ton of picks if he throws close to this many passes.

they have less speed at WR but given your QB doesn't throw much, that Bama WR speed doesn't matter that much.

THeir RB James Connor is as good as any SEC back in my view. I think Pitt's QB Peterman is better than most SEC Qbs right now.

if you ever get bored, watch the Clemson-Pitt game on youtube. you'll see a lot of bogus penalties on Clemson on Pitt 3rd and long passes. Clemson was penalized 9 or 10 times for 100 yards, Pitt was only penalized 3 times for 30 yards or so.

I'd take all 3 of our RBs over him. And all 3 have a better ypc.

I hope Clemson is relying on this to win the game

one thing that i've noticedd about your alabam fans is you don't seem to understand that the important of the o-line in running the ball. bama no doubt has a better o-line than Pitt. wut would James Connor do running behind that line.

Connor is going to play in NFL.

They won't be running much if you have 70 pass attempts.

ok. my point was peoplle like to use the Pitt loss to make the case Clemson isn't good enough to beat Bama. I'm just pointing out Watson had probably the best passing game of his life in that game. unfornately one of them was picked off in end zone and returned 70 yards, m ost of Pitt's offense in 2nd half. lol

if CLemson turns it over, especially 3 or more times, then there is a good chance Clemson loses. but that goes for any team that Clemson is playing.

without the turnovers, the Lville and nC State games and Pitt games aren't close. i can't remember if they turned it over against FSU.

CLemson has Mike Williams, who many consider the best all around WR that Clemson has ever had and who is probably the no. 1 WR in the draft, and Deon Cain, our best deep threat. neither played in the bama game last year.

Those days left with Mike Shula. Unfortunately all the rest of us are left with is Bama fans being gracious winners.

And Pitt is 101st in total defense. I would try not to bring up that game.

doesn't matter that much if you score 38, 39 points a game as they averaged over their last 10 games. Pitt played a tough schedule this year, at Mmiami, at Virginia Tech, at Okla State, at UNC, at Clemson, Penn State at home, etc.

meanwhile, Bama is playing teams that can't complete a forward pass, even in the SEC title game and the first round of playoffs. lol Alabama is a fortunate team.

who is the best passing QB that Bama has beat this year. i assume Chad Kelly on Ole Miss and Ole Miss did score on them. Clemson defesne a tad bit better. lol
