Also, just a couple weeks ago it was how bad auburn recruiting was and we were like 40th. Now it’s cuz we’re not top 10? Lol

Sorted rankings don't mean the results are linear.

Right now there is an increase of 40% in team composite scores from 1st to 15th.

I agree with what pat dye is saying here. U know the good ole days when players like...oh...cam Newton would commit to ms state, go to all their home games and decide the morning of he's transferring to auburn. U know when things were on the up and up.

Alabama just signed the highest ranked class ever last year, and so far this year has an even higher average.

We’ll see how Georgia and Bama do this time next year with Texas, South Florida, and California more or less locked down by the in-state schools.

I'm guessing we'll do just fine. Again.

Yea okay! LSU’s class is pretty decent all things considered and we don’t have a OC or DC in place. Wait till CBK gets this bitch rolling!!!!!

Can't wait to see which walk-ons Kirby chooses to play over some of them.

It's early of course but UGA looks to be doing fine in 2023 recruiting as well. 7 players committed and most are blue chips.

So, not really concerned

Bama is about to bring in the highest star average it’s ever signed.
That... is actually terrifying because that means the Aggots have a better class than any Bama class, too.

Our class last year had a higher average player and total points than their current class.

Our class this year has a higher average player rank than our class last year or anybody else this year.

"Highest Rated" and best don't mean the same thing.

Look at Bama's 2017 Class and UGA's 2018 class. They were compared as some of highest rated classes ever. Bama's 17 class turned out to be one of the best of all time while 2018 UGA's is good, but not great by Bama standards.

Not to mention, 2023 class

11. James Smith (Montgomery, AL)
13. Tony Mitchell (Alabaster, AL)
18. AJ Harris (Phenix City, AL)
23. Peter Woods (Alabaster, AL)
24. Jahlil Hurley (Florence, AL)
38. Jaquavious Russaw (Troy, AL)
71. Kelby Collins (Gardendale, AL)
85. Christopher Vizzina (Birmingham, AL)
89. Tomarrion Parker (Phenix City, AL)
90. Karmello English (Phenix City, AL)
92. Keldric Faulk (Highland Home, AL)

The state of Alabama has 5 of the top 25, 6 of the top 38 and 11 of the top 100 players in the country. I'm guessing we'll do pretty well there.

No, they’ve just got an extra commitment. Their class this year would rank well within the Top 10 all time though.
