The irony here is that Tebow was hated for geing a moral, spiritual person. Now that Manziel is terrorizing the SEC, suddenly its the exact opposite type of character traits that are angering people. Funny how that works.

I admired Tebow b/c he was a spiritual person. How do you know what was going on in the SEC? Texas A&M was getting smacked around in the Big 12 when Tebow was playing.

I love how Manziel backers are already putting him ahead of QB's who had awesome careers.
Manziel has had 1 awesome year. Let's see him do something with a differetn cast of characters and prove he's more than a flash in the pan before he's annointed anything.
I'm not saying it's for sure, but there is a strong possibility that his freshman year will be by far the best he ever does and he just goes downhill.

Or when he had 3 interceptions and 0 touchdowns on 29/56 passing attempts.
JFF did a great job of padding stats against cupcakes but he did not put up huge numbers against the top 3 teams A&M played last year: LSU, Florida, Bama (1-2).

Johnny Humiliated some teams in year 1. Not Fla. - his first game ever. Not LSU - with the fastest and most highly drafted D probably in history.
But he truly humiliated some teams. So their is alot of what you kids today call butthurt. This used to be called jealousy.
A freshman on a team everyone on this board expected to destroy humiliated most every team. Made them a Poster.
Freshman - vs. the vaunted SEC D's wins the Heisman for the first time ever for a Fresh and sets the ALL TIME SEC YARDAGE RECORD EVER. as a fresh. and pulled out of some games in the 3rd. JFF would have scored 80 easily on some of you - and you know who you are.
A&M's JFF Heisman Campaign solidified by making one of the most spectacular plays ever at Bama. A play that will be played over and over as long as we are all alive..
A&M Posterized Bama. Winning is winning. But making an everlasting Poster of Bama's bubbling Defense - priceless.
BTW Saban and Urban would take JFF over both your guys. If you dont think so - you dont know shite.

I feel sorry for your knowledge of football. Tebows career passing rating was 20 pts higher than Manziels rating last year. Statistically he blows Manziel away
Don't look at Tebows pro career and judge his college career. Manziel will never sniff the position in the NFL either, but will be a good college QB
