My guess would be the terms and logistics of issues personally unknown to us were the actual issue. LSU like A&M can piss the extra 400,000.00
My guess is LSU also has a plan B - if not a plan A - disguised as a plan B.

The only issue in this transaction was in your funny - the purchase of a Jockey. So the ability to, and wisdom of such an acquisition of the jockey is the only salient issue. The SWC days. For instance we went 10-0-1 with a tie to smu post death penalty.
We went 10-1 with a loss to Tulsa on a bomb on I wanna say in the last 2 min. of the game.
Both of those years could possibly been nattys (probation years I cant remember - but the ability to lose was always there...

I admit A&M has been the most underachieving team probably of all time. I have already alluded to this.
