Johnny will be the best and the worst thing that has ever happened to A&M, and the best is over with.

So you don't think Tebow could've done the same thing if he hadn't sat behind an All SEC QB that was basically Florida's version of Greg McElroy? Tebow would've torn people up on that 2006 team.

I didn't say he wouldn't have, but he didn't, and that's what matters.

Get over it.

Like I said, ifs and buts. It is reality, but it's also apples to oranges. One is a bruiser, the other is a Scatback. Neither one really has "great mechanics"

Agreed but JFF definitely has much better mechanics than TT.

And as far as the speed of their releases, it aint even close.

It's not necessarily his throwing either. It's just the fact he loves to throw sideways, backwards, upside down, on his right foot going left and on his left foot going right.

JFF wants to play in the NFL.

Tebow is just about finished as a QB in the NFL due to his limitations as a passer.

So, since JFF has never attempted a pass in the NFL, he cannot KNOW, but only HOPE that he's a better passer if he wants to be a starter in the NFL.

He's actually specifically trying to work on this. It was a main focus of his recent practice w/ his QB guru, Whitfield.

Shiat. I'm a better passer than Tebow and I got a bad shoulder.

Bayless asked Manziel, "How much better of a passer are you than the worst passer in the NFL?"

TBD. JFH is in the lead right now, that's obvious.

Leading your team to a huge season over season improvement, breaking the SEC single season yardage record and winning the Heisman > being a 1 yard specialist backup on a NC team

Apples to apples would be Tebow as a backup vs Manziel as a redshirt.

I doubt that Manziel will have any level of success in the NFL. Tebow got to the playoffs. Case closed.

Put 20 Lbs on him, work on his mechanics some, and get him with the right coach/system - he could be just fine.

I think it is pretty safe to say that a great majority (if you leave out the A&M folks - who cannot be objective) of us would take TT over JFF. As a college QB.
