Yeah, but bama played its worst game of the season, was tired after playing LSU, figured Aggie out, is still the better team, would win 8/10 times, blah blah blah.

Remember, we warned you Aggies how bama fans are. VERY few of them are man enough to own up to an arse beating and the vast majority will say bama lost and won't give credit to the other team and just say they are simply the better team.

BTW, how's Auburn doing?

He said he wishes he could play them again, and this is a PROBLEM? He didn't say "we gave them the game", or "we're the better team". He said he wishes he could play them again and correct his mistakes.

JESUS H CHRIST, some of you are so sensitive it's insane. I much prefer the mentality of wishing he could play them again over Pflugner after the Orange Bowl missed xp saying "it's just a game". I have nothing but praise and respect for A&M after the way they played, but of course I wish we could play them again.

Well, sorta a dumpster fire.

However, the dumpster is about burned down now, and will probably just be a pile of ash if we make a shitty hire and lose our current recruiting class.

It's not, and he isn't making a big deal out of it. Maybe you should have read other articles on the same page if you thought that's the locker room mentality.

quote:

He was asked about the mood at practice.

"Good. Positive," McCarron said. "That’s one good thing about this team. You can’t worry about things that happened in the past. You can’t control that. Got to move on. We've got to win out, take care of business and, you know, just control what we can control."

quote:

"all we can do is move on," he said. "There’s no reason to worry about what happened in that game. Once that clocks ends, it’s the same as ones you win. That game was that game. We've got other people on our schedule, other opponents, so we’re going to have to prepare week in and week out and, like I said, take care of our business and, you know, that’s all we can control."

"Yeah well, I am sure you do Lester. Unfortunately the system does not work out like that for every game you might lose."

Don't be so sure, Scooter. It ain't over yet. The one thing we DO know is that LSU nor A&M will be in the BCSNC game!

There's always a Bama player (or Saban) post loss giving excuses or saying they didn't bring their a-game etc. Gimme a break. Once again, classy!

I got no problem with it and I don't see what people are jumping on Lester for. Of course you wish you could avenge the loss after watching the tape. Most players do. but it's time to move on to the next opponent.

The Bluegrass miracle excuse came to mind but after reading several post loss interviews I must withdraw my Saban gives excuses claim. Not so for the players however.

Get used to it.

According to Bama players, they outplayed LSU and they just almost beat themselves.

After about 2-3 years, it will go in one ear and out the other.

Yeah I have no problem with anything Lester said. Texas A&M played a great game and their defense was on point.

Still Alabama has a chance at their 5th straight 10 win season and their 2nd SEC championship within that span. We are also still in good shape to possibly play for the BCS title.

There's nothing that can be done about loss. Texas A&M played very well and we got it handed to us. Very hard to go undefeated and even harder to repeat.

I see nothing wrong with him saying that. He feels like there is some unfinished business and he isnt going to get a chance to take care of it personally. You people are ridiculous.

It would be flat out embarrassing if saban was giving out excuses.

The players are a bunch of 18-21 year olds. Of course they are going to be emotional after a loss at home that might have knocked us out of the title game. If they let an excuse slide out I'm ok with it as long as they are saying the right thing the following week of practice.

I agree....lots of LSU players would love to get Bama again.
