Not sure about Oklahoma but Texas will be a bottom feeder in the SEC.

Tacky uniforms? You are fricking idiot if you think that.

Yeah, well those uni's OU wore in Morgantown were almost as awful as the game they played. They had no business losing that game, and they had no business wearing those uni's.

Oklahoma will be tied with 8&4 for ugliest uniforms

But man, after this season, not so much.

Teams have bad seasons, OU was due, they had the most wins of any FBS team since 2000, and had experienced 10+ wins in 18 of the last 22 years. After what Riley did to the team, it's roster and its 2022 recruiting, it is no surprise. They are very literally rebuilding (not the normal rebuilding most teams due year to year). It will take a few years. I expect them to be much better by the time they enter the SEC. Texas? Who the hell knows. I had expected them to do better this year, after this past weekend, with a fully healthy team they truly laid an egg. TCU dominated them at home. Unlike OU they have no excuses, this SHOULD have been Sark's year.

This is laughable. OU's traditional home and away uni's are top 5, both in how good they are, but how recognizable.

Now, the "Rough Rider" alternates they have used over the last 10 years or so are horrible. And that one they wore last week should NEVER see the light again. I was ok with the "Unity" series that was unveiled in celebration of Prentiss Gault.

Sark's Texas teams remind me of Georgia under Mark Richt; above average players, but with no heart at all. They seem to have a few games a year where they don't even show up.

OU's traditional uniforms are terrific and the alternates look pretty good, too, IMO. To each, his own.

Seems great to me. We all get richer, and the league adds two totally beatable programs that don't upset the apple cart.

With Sark....yes. No argument. Next weekend Texas will likely lose to Kansas for the 2nd year in a row. We are still crawling around rock bottom.

Success for Texas in the SEC relies on one thing. Will someone be able to hire Urban this offseason? If not, and if Texas can hire him after Sark craps the bed again in 2023, we will likely be okay in the SEC. If we hire another loser, we're screwed.

I get it.

I too would want to avoid a school that is the twice reigning best athletic department in the country and would've beat alabama if not for a safety wiped off the board

It won't be Urban. But hopefully it won't be another coordinator or "up-and-comer" again, either.

Problem is, Del Conte is horrible at hiring for men's sports. Chris Beard is once again going to show everyone he's a fraud, and Sarkisian so far has a worse record against Power 5 teams and Big 12 teams than Charlie strong did this far into his second season.

Gotta love it when posters that are too big of pussies to claim affiliation with a team try to take shots at another fanbase

Get rid of A&M and Missouri, and go back to being a 12-University league.

This was the right size. It made sense, was orderly, and still felt like a real conference. It was easier to follow, and everybody played frequently enough. It's too big as is.

When it goes larger and goes to some kind of pod format, it will be even harder to follow. Arkansas benefits from the additions giving us closer games and higher attendance from visitors, but I'd rather we go back to 12 than 16. Good lord, what a mess.
