I think LSU with Michael Penix Jr. would have beaten Bama this year.

First let me start off by saying that this thread is not for LSU fans. I already know there are way more LSU fans that post on this site and I know this won't happen, but I kindly ask that you guys refrain from downvoting this thread or participating in the comments, because it won't reflect the true opinions of SEC fans. This thread is a discussion for the other teams in the SEC that don't have a conflict of interest. Thanks for your cooperation. 
I just liked the leadership qualities that Michael showed all year and his ability to perform when the pressure was on. Michael having 6 years of college has helped him tremendously. He's only lost 2 games since transferring to Washington while Jayden Daniels has lost 7 games.
I still think Michigan wins tonight and if they do it's not some gotcha moment that invalidates my opinion, Tonight's game has nothing to do with how LSU would have won with a different QB against Bama.

They might have played better but he couldn't play linebacker or safety or corner.

It was smart to hedge your bets.
A lot of folks are suffering from recency bias after watching Penix play well vs a putrid Texas pass defense. Penix had some absolute stinkers of games this season.
Michigan is going in dry.

Troll level 100% This makes sense because if Penix was at LSU the only way he would be on the field was if he played defense. He probably would have been an upgrade and any position out there.

-A better QB efficiency?
-Better completion percentage?
-Better TD/INT ratio
-Better YPA?
-Better running ability?
