Does not always translate to good NFL QB. History is littered with similar stories of "Great CFB QB, failed pro QB". No need to get defensive about something you have no control over.

I was ticked that the Bucs didnt get Richardson. He is going to be all everything by the time he retires..just watch. Rare blend of pure power, speed and elusiveness to boot.

Tailbacks being taken that high are stupid. With the way the new contracts are worked, you can find tons of value later in the draft, and by signing them to 4/5 year contracts, with the franchise rules in place, a tailback won't reach free agency until his 6th or 7th year in the league.
Which means anyone that pays him big money at that point is either extremely ignorant or just extremely dumb. You know, like a Daniel Snyder type.
Tailbacks have a shelf life of about 4 years, so if you can DOUBLE the normal life expectancy in terms of your career in the league, you'll make it to your free agency taste test where you'll be lowballed based on the thought that you're overused.
Any worth a crap tailback in the league's gonna get ridden and have some miles on his tires, & then some.
Same with Richardson here. I just don't see how anyone would take a tailback in today's NFL in the 1st round.
QB's, OL & WR's have far longer careers, and in today's league, are far more valuable than a tailback.
AD Peterson is the only guy that's an NFL All-Pro type to come within half a sniff of the Super Bowl in the past 4-5 years. Brady, Manning (Eli), Brees, Manning (Peyton), Rodgers and their ilk are what is going to engineer your train all the way to a SuperBowl.
Seriously...Name the last NFL All-Pro Running Back to win a Super Bowl. Or play in one?
It's a QB league, & T-Rich better save his money from this contract. Chances are he won't make much on his 2nd.

Injured by game 4, out 4-6 weeks. Browns again fail to make playoffs...never heard from again.
