They will undoubtedly run him into the ground and shorten his career....especially in that division...

It's called a hyperbole. Look it up.

Not everything posted on the internet is as serious as you believe.

And yes, 28 is fricking old for a rookie QB in the NFL.

With the way stupidity runs rampant here, it's hard to tell who's serious and who's being sarcastic

You're the one who got offensive when I told you he was 28. I thought you might've had a typo

I don't know much about the browns other than they're an up and coming rebuilding team. They do play in a pretty tough division w/ pittsburgh and baltimore though. I don't do much fantasy but he'll likely be a top 10 NFL back in a year or two

Richardson will be a stud playing for a dud team I'm afraid. However I think Trent will be an all star as long as he doesn't get hurt.

If you look at the teams that have won championships due to their running backs (Early '90s Cowboys with Emmitt, late '90s Broncos with TD, '99 Rams), they all had one thing in common. The RBs were always the last or one of the last pieces to the puzzle. Emmitt Smith was drafted after Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, and a number of other great players. Terrell Davis came to a team with John Elway, Ed McCaffrey, Shannon Sharpe, and a great offensive line. The Rams already had Isaac Bruce and Orlando Pace and had drafted Torry Holt in the same year they got Marshall Faulk. LaDainian Tomlinson was unable to win anything because when the Chargers was finally build a championship-caliber team around him, he was in his sixth year in the league. He basically had two more good years and then he was done. The Chargers only had a short two-year window with LT. If the Browns had drafted DeCastro with the 25th pick and a WR like Hill or Jeffery in the 2nd, I would feel a lot better about Trent being a good pick for them. They would basically be a QB away from being a really good team. Draft someone like Wilson in 2013 and they would be set. But the Browns have so many holes right now that by the time they're ready to contend, Trent will be in decline. From that standpoint, it looks like a wasted pick.

i agree with this. im not sold on Weedon. youre just replacing one overrated big12 QB with another. Even in the best case scenario for Trent, I cant see this team getting to the playoffs.

basic fact... jacksonville jaguars suck, yet maurice jones-drew led the league in yards rushing with a shite o-line. i personally think trent is working with more physical talent than mjd. as we know the sports world isn't transitive, but i like his chances.

Ummmmmm... you do realize that MJD had 65 more carries than the second place RB, right?

His average puts him at 33rd...

well they did go out and get help at WR, something CLE could have used in the draft. Trent will probably do well but that team has a lot of holes on offense. The Weeden pick wasn't a good move IMO. That hayseed will do no better than Colt McCoy.

i agree that they have holes on offense. but to be fair, CLE did go out and get WR help in the draft. they got Bert Reid and Greg Little and a kid from Okie Lite to help Weedon.

LoL. Colt is overrated huh? Is that why he was the winningest qb in CFB history until kellen Moore passed him?
