We are most concerned if we have the best team in the nation (by winning championships). 50 years from now no one will care who had the best conference but they will look back in history and say this or that team won the National Championship. In the big scheme of things championships are what matters the most.
Steel sharpens Steel, the reason we dominate the rest in championships and our teams roll in OOC is because most times that's our easy games. Our chance to take a breath and work on any issues during a game we need to.
FSU and then Miami... Then OU all had that attitude. They won 1 then faded into obscurity because in the long run kids with NFL aspirations want to play for the best coaches, in the best environment against the best competition and everyone and their grandparents already know that is the SEC.

I have also seen miss state ranked by votes as #1 during a season. do you actually believe all those polls that are nothing more than a popularity contest ? the play-offs are the only way to deal with that and is the reason everybody sees the chinks in the sec armor.

Delusional much? An SEC Team has participated in the Championship game ALL BUT 1 YEAR! Capped so maybe it will register. We still run this shite, and that's not changing anytime soon.
Most likely scenario is Clemson remains a quality program and we pass that arse around like community pussy. Ask OU and OSU how they faired every year they met up with us.

If you surveyed this board board you would find most SEC fans and especially LSU fans saying that LSU is going to murder Clemson.
Not many Clemson fans are making equally bold predictions. Assuming we are healthy for the game, I see it being a close game with red zone defense being the difference.

LOL, your offense hasnt played a defense worth a shite except for OSU and they forced you all to punt 7 times in the game. That happens with Clemson, LSU turns those 7 punts into 35 pts.

FSU scored the go ahead TD on Auburn in the last seconds of the game dumbass. There was no whipping involved in that game.
