Simple. Neither team will be able to stop the other team. But Clemson #1 defense will stop Lsu #1 offense more than Lsu #29 defense will stop Clemson #4 offense. Which will in turn give Clemson offense more possessions to outscore you.
The thing you don't realize is you haven't played a team complete on both sides of the ball. For example Florida, Georgia, and auburn had great defenses but their offense was average. Alabama had a great offense but their defense was between average to good. They wasn't balanced enough. Clemson has a great offense and the #1 defense. That's all.

How do you know? Georgia scored the same amount of points as you did vs Georgia Tech and you only scored 5 more than Georgia did vs. Texas A&M.
Your offensive ranking is simply a product of your weak arse schedule.
Also, LSU held what was the #2 ranked offense to 28 points and 14 of those were in garbage time just last week.
This narrative that LSU doesnt have a good defense is tired and simply not true.

We won't beat them that bad, sorry. I wish we did too, but we won't. I see LSU winning by 2 tds though. It could get ugly though if we jump all over them early and take a nice lead and make them abandon the run game and become one dimensional. If this game is a shootout, like many believe it will be, that is definitely in LSUs favor and I don't see Clemson being able to keep up as good as their offense seems to be. They're not going to outscore this LSU team. This is one of the best offensive teams in college fb history. They got lucky and played the game of their lives vs bama last season and bama didn't show up and got ambushed bc of it. LSU is comin'. We will be ready and they're not sneaking up on anyone. LSU wins and covers the spread. Geaux tigers.

Lol. So, Clemson is going to blow LSU out eh? If I were you, I would go out down your life savings on them doing just that and see what happens. I have a feeling you're just confusing what you want to happen in the game vs what is realistically possible. If Clemson wins, it will be bc LSU uncharacteristically frick around and loses the turnover battle by 3 and Clemson capitalizes on all of them. Even if that turns out to be the case, Clemson will still be in for a game and won't blow LSU out. Too high octane of an offense for anyone to blow out this LSU team. Our defense is playing like they're capable as well and we get back one of our best defensive players to boot. The game is in Nola, at night, for the title, with LSU playing it's best ball at the right time...good luck with that one. This isn't like 2011 where we had Jordan fricking Jefferson at qb and a predictable offense coaches by a stubborn, brick headed, idiot in Les miles. This is an LSU team that has been setting cfb records all season against some of the best teams and defenses in the nation. Like I said, LSU will have to gift Clemson the game to lose it and I don't see that happening. LSU is the better team all around and should win the natty. Geaux Fightin' Tigers.
