Huge Tennessee fan, already trying to plan out this Sugar Bowl trip for next month.

Is the Hustler Club still open? How about the super Krystal? It's been a while and my last trip was sort of foggy, thanks in advance for the recommendations Rant community

Just go to Macon.

Basically the same experience and it is a shorter drive.

NOLA is a shithole.

Bourbon street and the immediately adjacent areas are hella fun if you like bar hopping, drinking, live music, street performances and just like to party. You have basically zero chance of being bothered on bourbon street in a group, it's the to and from where you parked that can be sketchy. I highly recommend having some fun on a weekend night in bourbon street, if you like what I mentioned above, youll have a wonderful time.

Just DO NOT GO ALONE, AND DONT TAKE ANYTHING YOU DONT WANT LOST OR STOLEN. Look, chances are if you aren't looking for trouble, trouble won't find you. But shite happens, and putting yourself into a position to not be a victim is the best thing you can do. Scammers and pickpockets are your only real threat on bourbon street, that's why you stay in a group.

I lived downtown for a bit. Stick to the hotel and roof top bars. I am a fan of the new virgin hotel and 4 seasons set up. Bar Marilou is also cool. Not sure if they are still on reservation only post covid though. Drinks at the hyatt outside the dome at vidascope or the bar across the way. It is a good spot close to the dome to drink and feel the energy of a game day. Really other than 4 seasons on the river, there is never really a reason to cross poydras

Only time I ever step foot in the quarter is for a Brunch or something. Maybe occasionally step into the carousel bar or Sazerac bar around the holidays

I have a great story about this place but this is the wrong forum for it. Belongs on Penthouse forum.
