Would I put it in the top 5 of rivalry games?
Sure, however it's certainly not number 1.
Here's how I'd rank them:
1. Army vs Navy
2. Alabama vs Auburn
3. Georgia vs Florida
4. Ohio State vs Michigan
5. Mississippi State vs Ole Miss

It’s a great rivalry, I just personally can’t watch Big 10 football. Puts me to sleep every time

Look dude I’m not gonna sit here and throw insults back and forth with you like I’m in the 8th grade again. You wanna do that I’m sure someone on here will oblige you but it ain’t me brother. At least not tonight anyway. Besides once you have someone throwing insults or threats at you then it’s time to stop talking because you have won the argument.
Far to late to throw the "higher road" card Bocephus. You have insulted the definition of intelligence and now you want to rally with that beta shite?
Gfy & take the loss pussy.

That’s because they hate the SEC with a passion and still pretend it’s the 1970’s by pimping up the Big 10 every off season in the off chance they actually do something in the playoffs. There are 3-4 SEC teams, maybe more every year that could go 11-1 or 12-0 every year only playing one difficult game.

Auburn fans pretty openly and shamelessly cheered for Alabama to beat Georgia in the 2017 and 2021 national championship games.

Because you don’t live there, so it’s hard to understand. It is the best rivalry in CFB. OU-TX would be next. Historically, two really old rivalries, with hate for one another, that often have national championship ramifications. If a stadium was big enough, you could get 200,000+ at either game.
Iron Bowl is third place.

If Auburn would get their shite together and get competitive, the Iron Bowl would have juice again.

Everyone’s watching it, it must be good! Did you know a ton of people watch the dog show on thanksgiving too? You won’t catch me saying that I can’t wait to watch the dog beauty contest. The same reason that Bo Nix will win the Heisman is the same reason the OSU/UM game is the most popular. People who don’t watch College football vote for Bo Nix and watch “the Game”. They let the media tell them what to watch and who to vote for.
Most top-15 matchups since 1993:
Bama-LSU 15
Florida-FSU 14
Florida-Tennessee 13
Florida-LSU 12
Miami-FSU 12
Florida-Bama 11
OU-Texas 11
OSU-Michigan also at 11 now

They live in completely different states. It's nowhere near the same as the Iron Bowl or South Carolina-Clemson where fans work together, go to school together, see each other in the grocery store, etc. State rivalries are always more intense.

I go by what I see and try not to let bias get the best of my feelings. Personally, I'm very excited for the game featuring legit elite defenses and good offenses. It may be boring to some but defenses usually win football games and I love a good defensive battle. There is a reason it is called the greatest rivalry in sports and this weekend is an example.
BTW, last years CFP game between GA-OSU game was probably the most entertaining game I have ever watched.... If Marvin Harrison hadn't been knocked out of the game....well????

It is a great rivalry. Especially when both teams are presently elite.

It’s a great rivalry. Many SEC fans live in a self admiration bubble.

My interest in them changes from year to year but OSU/Mich being the defacto B1G title game has made it the most interesting game of rivalry weekend the last couple of years.
Egg bowl is underrated and needs to always be the only game on Thanksgiving night. I enjoy the Iron bowl but I think kick six and camback made it gain a lot more national appeal than it had before. Auburn falling off as of late has hurt it.
I want Texas/Ark to be revived on this weekend in the new SEC. Would actually give us a rivalry weekend game to look forward to.
Thanksgiving week is like sports Christmas. Love it!

Michigan and OSU was a bit lame for a while, but no one can deny the stakes and animosity has really ramped up lately.

Wow a topic about rivalries devolves into north vs. south nonsense, who would've thought? Regardless, the best is either Ohio State-Michigan, Bama-Auburn, or OU-UT (honorable mention Army vs. Navy).
The heatedness of the Egg Bowl, Clemson-SC, and Bama-Auburn is because they are in-state rivalries. I'd argue that there is just as much heatedness between Ohio State and Michigan. The fact that the two states fought a literal war against each other adds an interesting dimension to it too.
Competition-wise, Ohio State-Michigan have both been ranked in the top-5 13 times. And I think they've given the other their first loss of the season like 8 times (i.e. kept the other out of a potential natty appearance 8 times). It's good stuff between two blue bloods.
Also, the "criticisms" here that Ohio State and/or Michigan is overrated in any given year is weird. A great rivalry is where one wants to see the other suffer as much as possible, and the source/circumstances of that suffering can change in any given season. When Michigan has a great team, I want them to be undefeated going into the game since a loss would make them suffer even more. When Michigan doesn't have a great team, I want them to lose literally every single game while we win a national title; that's maximum suffering. And if the outside world thinks Ohio State is overrated, then that's fine since it'd be hilarious if our biggest rival lost to an overrated team.

Army and Navy is a way better rivalry game. Both Michigan and OSU are typically overrated as hell
Ohio State and Michigan would wipe the field with Army and Navy.
No one outside the slow 10 gives a shite about michigan v osu. You can tell yourself it does if that makes you feel better...but we don't.

The entire media drives Michigan/tOSU. The entire media promotes the Northeast US in general, which is why the B1G teams make so much money.
Army/Navy is by far the biggest rivalry
Alabama/AU and tOSU/Michigan would be two and three, changing dependent on the teams and the year.
This year, not many will watch Alabama/AU because AU is simply terrible.
