I feel sorry for the Arkansas team, cruel game

frick their trash fans but this team had a truly remarkable season. Won the league and the tournament in a season the conference was very strong. Came out on fire on game 1 and 2 one run games later it’s over. It sucks for those kids.

I find most Arkansas fans to be pretty cool. And I kind of felt worse for them losing than us because we were lucky we even made it to the supers.

This is a good Arkansas that caught fire most of the season and played better than they should. But after this game, they played a team that was better than them.

Losing two aces to win the SEC tourney cost Arkansas. When you lose your Saturday and Sunday guys and have a bullpen that's erratic, it's hard to win in the CWS.

Me too - my second favorite team in this league. Baseball is such a cruel sport and the best team generally never wins it all.

Vermillion just had lingering arm soreness most of the year. He got pulled after a few pitches in a tourney game. Losing Pallette was the one that really hurt. Was a fri/sat starter the entire year. Slavens also jacked his ankle up pretty good while we were there. This shite is why everyone hates the tourney.

No.
Pallette was injured the last series of season against Florida. Vermillion was injured during SEC Tourney. Bolden was injured last Friday. 2 pitchers who had starting experience and then Slavens hasn’t been same since.

Van Horn is a very good coach, but he's stubborn as hell and sticks with his personal favorites no matter what. I don't see us getting as close as we did in 2018 ever agai with him.
