Most of the salary in that "expensive staff" is going to one man - Dave Aranda,
People see Aranda’s salary and think LSU is throwing insane money around. Venables and Steele are right behind him but nobody is talking about Clemson and Auburn. LSU currently does not have another Asst over $1.0 mil. Also CEO takes less money to keep his staff together.
Add Jimbo and Elko’s salaries together and see if that is more than CEO & Aranda...

He doesn’t demand a ridiculous salary so that it frees up money to get the best staff available. Pretty sure that’s what a great HC is supposed to do

How would Saban be doing if he didn't have 142 analysts on staff?

Nothing quite like watching the limp-dick brain trust of the SEC RANT, fresh from their jobs refilling the condiment table at the Winky Dinky Dog, speculating about the intelligence of the head coach of an undefeated team who has defied the conventional wisdom and built a winner from the ground up.

That's a sh*tty take, even for a Gump.

Bama has had the largest support staff in CFB along with Ohio St and like you said Bama has had some of the highest recruiting classes. So obviously Saban is just an idiot that requires great players and a huge staff to succeed.
Every team wins because of a reason. Seems odd to point out a reason and say "They are winning because_______!"
Okay. So what is the point? Plenty of coaches had struggling offenses and stubbornly held to the offensive style. Orgeron changed the offensive philosophy and brought in coaches to run that offense...then, most importantly...got out of the way and let them run the offense.
People should give him credit, instead of pointing and act like he is nothing special.

Oh really? Thanks for clearing that up. We all didn't realize YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU work for the University.
BTW, only about 11% of the ENTIRE statewide LSU System budget comes from the State of La. government, dumbass.
And since state government is now stongly in the black now anyway, that does not even matter.
I guess the LSU Foundation, the ForeverLSU Association, the LSU Alumni Association, the Purple & Gold Club, the Tiger Athletic Foundation, the Cox Academic Center, the University Administration and Campus Master Plan, the Pennington Research Center, and the Statewide LSU System are all "broke" too I guess ????
The University is actually thriving and has set records for enrollment, ACT and GPA averages, and the Campus Master Plan is still strongly in action with new construction all over campus.
The LSU Athletic Department, which in previous years has actually donated money to the Academic side of the University, does not even have to do that anymore.
Next time, do your research, or STFU....

No they didn't, everybody bashed O, and said that he wouldn't succeed. How can you say that people said the opposite.

So you're looking at how he'd do. 12-0 & likely on his way to the playoffs

First off check Bama's payroll ...also what difference does it make?
You have a well paid staff...and WIN!
