LSU will finish no lower than third

You must have not looked at their roster and lack of experience across the board at positions like QB, RB, DL, etc.

1. State- Best DL in the SEC and a very good OL with 4 starters returning. Offense improves under Moorhead and becomes less predictable.

If only the secondary was on par with the front 7. Every opposing coach worth his salt will exploit the undertalented DBs. Do you expect Tua to grind it out against Simmons when a TD pass is available on every down?

Moorhead could light up the SEC or he could fall flat on his face. Like every new HC, he remains an unknown quantity.

We also return the SEC leader in interceptions. We'll be fine

It's rare SEC coaches get to take over this type of talent. Malzahn was the last in 2013

Auburn fans seem to forget they lost alot of OL and RB talent- then lost 2 of their better WR's this Spring

OL muht be addition by subtraction, and we added in a transfer that will play immediately. Our OL is, on paper, more talented this year. As for RB, losing Kerryon will absolutely be felt... but we have some talent that should/will fill in the gap. We usually plug and play for 1000yd seasons. And finally, for the WRs, we've got talent all over the place and I'm not really sure who you're referring to that we lost.

State fans, accept your reality as the equivalent of the sweat that accumulates in the region between the balls and arse. A minor inconvenience at times that in the grand scheme of things serves a greater purpose to prevent chafing and discomfort.

And yet we will have one or two RB's run for 1,000+ yards, again. Who was the last RB at State with 1,000+ yards? Josh Robinson?

True, but that is also probably our most talent-laden position on the entire team behind the DL.

What should worry you is that State rarely gets any preseason hype. But this season its different. Preseason top 20 by everybody

They literally always have. At least while he's been HC or IHC at LSU

I really feel the only close game we'll have this year will be Alabama. Possibly Auburn stays within a couple touchdowns. This is the most talent State has ever assembled on a roster and it's deep at all positions. We're at least 10-2 this season. Book mark it please.

The scary part is that it will probably just push their players even harder this offseason. You look at them and then look at Tennessee and by the time the season started Tennessee already had off-season championships, life championships, you name it. They were bored with winning. I think this grind is real.

Williams, literally last year. And he's coming back. And he's not even close to being the best RB on our team. You're not the brightest, eh?

I'm on record as being optimistic. MSU has talent. But what kind of coach will JoeMo be? Will he crawl into his shell for big games, or roll the dice and go for broke? Too many variables for me to make a legit prediction.

But, I'm not a tGrinder. Those guys can't be negotiated with. They run wild and free

It’s like, everyone forgets O has actually won games as our coach. He has now beaten both of these teams two years in a row, and VERY convincingly. Did you just forget?

Returning starters can be such an overrated stat at times. Just because they’re returning doesn’t guarantee they are going to be any better, if it all, compared to last year. Some even will likely regress.

There are a lot of dumb statements ITT, but I find this to be the dumbest. So, returning 17 starters from a team that lost to the National champs, the national runner up, and the only team that beat the national champs probably doesn't have good players and will likely regress? Yes, we had one loss to a shitty team, who happens to be our arch rival. I'll give you that one. Yes, Auburn caught us in a perfect storm and whooped our arse. Great. We were still a very good team last year. Deal with it.

Another dumb statement is that we will have the best DL in the league. We may, but 3rd in the West is not unlikely either. However, it IS an exceptional DL. 3rd in the West may still be top 10 nationally. That's not a slight.
