How soon before Kirby disappoints Dawg fans with no NC going up against Saban and ends up getting fired like Richt or Miles did at 7SU?

Let's say Saban retires while Kirby is in Athens and still he doesn't win a NC? How long would you wait before he gets shown the door?

I tend to agree that he could be good for one. Still, they let old Dooley stay for a while after winning just one. I am wondering though in this day of high expectations if they'll keep him around if he doesn't win one in the next five years. I think all it will take is one bad season and he'll be on the hot seat.

How many threads are Bama fans going to make about UGA alleging they can see the future and it ends with us not winning championships? What had Kirby done in his first two seasons outside of out recruiting your god and taking him to overtime with an inferior team would lead you to believe this stupidity? Dumbass Gumps

Dooley coached during a time where football and athletic budgets were small by comparison, the population of the state was half of what it is today, and the available high school football talent was a pittance compared to today.

As for Kirby, he's living rent free in Bama fan's minds.

I really don't see it that way. Kirby has never beaten Bama. Why would we be worried about him? If anything, Bama is in Georgia's minds because the Dawgs can't seem to beat Bama for some time now. Luckily for you, Georgia doesn't play Bama every season.

Kirby will win at least 1 in the next 5 years. I could see a Bama/Georgia rivalry forming.

Kirby has the same thing going for him that Saban has. That is the ability to recruit at an incredible level. He will absolutely win a NC in the next 5 years. Probably in the next 3 years.

Kirby is riding a high, but it will come crashing down in a year or so and UGA will have a few down years.

Wait. I feel like we have said this same thing about an SEC West coach for 10 years now.

Let’s say Kirby retires Saban and Bammer fans are returned to the days of Mike Shula and Dennis Franchione.

The man goes to the national championship game in year 2 of his first head coaching job ever and people still want to criticize

Well it only took 15 years for Richt so I'd say he's good for a while...

Not criticizing Kirby, CNB... just wondering how the Dawg fanbase will behave once they realize he won't win the big one.

I believe many of us are jumping the gun thinking Kirby will dominate the east in the future.
