Don’t put any stock into what an aggie says about the market value for athletic department personnel.

Based on what is being reported, it sounds like O was willing to make concessions in lieu of a $5 million insurance policy.

Saban has always been about a money grab.
Fisher is way overpaid and we will see if he earns it but that's what it took to get a sitting NC winning head coach away from FSU.

LSU benefitted in that they promoted O as an interim and he's earned it.

Because he couldn't get out of A&M fast enough? What does it say about your athletic department if they have all the money in the world (at least according to your fanbase), but he'll up and leave to a "rival" (in quoatations because only you perceive LSU as a rival and not vice versa)?

And for FarmerTed's benefit, LSU is not "poor" dumbass.

Only 11% of the entire LSU System campuses budget comes from the State of La. government - which, by the way, is now in the BLACK.
LSU not only has increased endowments and alumni giving, but has the ForeverLSU Campaign and the TAF, and a Top30 Quality Thrust, the Pennington Biomedical Complex, avery progressive Campus Master Plan, and increasing enrollments and average test scores.

Finally FarmerTed, go violate yourself.....or let another Aggie do it I guess.......
