The ncaa isn’t the authority on who the college football national champion is. That’s why the football trophy doesn’t have the letters “NCAA” on it. If you never finished number 1 in the AP or coaches, and you’ve never won the BCS or CFP, you haven’t won a championship in football.

Florida did some awesome things in sports in that stretch, it literally all came together. Very cool and must have been ridiculously fun to be a fan when that happened.
