Yes, college baseball and women's basketball are such incredibly popular sports. Why not add quidditch to the list while we're at it?

Probably because baseball hasn't been popular since the 1930's and women's basketball is not a recognized college sport.

I would give up all of Texas A&M's national championships for a Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger from Whataburger, add grilled jalapeños.

Be sure to go inside, though. You can't trust that Aggie working the window

I wouldn’t give up any women’s sports championships. Those girls worked hard and I’m proud of them. They deserve to hold on to their titles.

Men sports need to get their shite together.

I’d trade the entire women’s basketball program for one more win against Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Auburn, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas AM

The older I get, the more removed I am from football. It’s exciting, but it’s pro ball. I want LSU to be great, but I can get pretty damn pumped when my Tigers win a baseball title.
so the older you get, you get more excited about pro players winning college baseball titles than you do for pro players winning college football titles

I figured I’d get a remark like this. I imagine the cash handouts to your utility infielder aren’t quite as much as what your offensive linemen are making.

And seeing as how baseball is a non-rev sport, those guys will probably have to work for whatever NIL money they get. I doubt “collectives” are offloading millions.

I’d give up all of ours in every sport to continue to have female cheerleaders.

National championships are not a bank man! The exchange rate is not the same across all of the sports.

This thread just makes me appreciate the Saban dynasty even more. I wish every fanbase could experience it and I know LSU fans hate Alabama as much as they do because he did it with us and not them.

Kiffin wins two titles and he gets a named goat and it still won’t come close to matching what Saban did at Alabama.

Baseball is popular with the Aggies.

It involves a little too much thinking for the Alabama fanbase.

I think it all depends....

for a school like Kentucky, UNC or Kansas, you might actually concede football to get more basketball titles. I just think that's where the fanbase really is.

LSU (my school), I'd like a men's basketball title. We don't have one. I wouldn't give football up, but maybe baseball, maybe even a 2-for-1.

Anything below baseball (which I rank as 3rd behind football and men's basketball at LSU), I would give up the sport completely to win another football title, or men's basketball title.

Au Contraire TexasTiger08, I just happened to be researching revenue sports for the SEC just last week for another thread. I don't think I'm mistaken when I tell you....Only Texas and LSU have a positive revenue from their baseball programs.
The majority of SEC revenue sports are football and men's basketball only, net positive that is.

Edit, upon further recollection, Arkansas may have a positive baseball revenue, not sure. Arkansas had some weird revenue numbers.

I would give up 5 national championships in baseball, 3 (maybe more) in basketball, and 20 in women’s basketball for one football national championship.

This is, without a doubt, the most Aggie thing I've ever seen on here.
