OR is beating LSU or Alabama once every 3 - 5 years enough to keep him safe for a few more of his typical 8 or 9 win seasons?

Never.

They are going to ride Jimbo like the libs do “climate change”.

His seat is already warm by following up a NY6 bowl win season with 8-4. If there isn’t an improvement in wins this year, his seat will be pretty hot.

Well if anybody knows about liberals, it’s definitely texass fans seeing as that school and town are filled with them now.

If he loses more than 2 his seat should be hot but I don’t see that happening with the QB situation.

I’m of the opinion if he starts King he will have a built in excuse of breaking in a new starter as King only played 4 or 5 quarters last year. That is why I hope Weigman wins the job and I would call this coming year a wash. All dependent if Johnson starts/shows out and surprises us.

Just my opinion…

Also, I and a lot of other Aggies think that if his offense continues to look to hard to comprehend for his QB, then he should look at handing over play calling.

It seems Jimbo has a hard time scheming his receivers open.

Do you dip shlts really think we’re going to loose a bunch of games with some of the best talent we’ve had and will continue to attract to College Station?

We have all this evidence that the top recruiting classes go on to win national championships.

…which is probably why there’s so much butt hurt around here.

His seat is not warm, and there is ZERO chance it could be hot after this year. After next year? maybe, if he won 7 or 8.

The aggies are tickled pink with 8-4 so my guess is he'll retire from there.

Aggy fans will claim his seat is warm or that they expect 10-wins, but in reality, we all know a worthless win over LSU or Alabama keeps him in his seat for another 5-years.

His 3-8 record vs Top 10 teams is already elite…

It’s just his 0-7 record vs ranked teams on the road that he needs to work on.

Lol, those rubes signed a guaranteed contract with a $95MM buyout.
Jimbo will fleece aggy for every penny if he loses every game for the next 8 years.

If he gets 2 quick loses I believe the boosters can him and one of them starts to coach the games.. Too much money involved now and one might thing he has to “take control” of his investment. Those kind of guys have egos like that. See Jerry Jones.

You’ll be correct soon enough. Regardless nobody is firing the guy who has energized the program, brought in that talent & still has a huge contract in play.

He’s got 5 years to go even in the worst scenario outside of some scandal & “NIL” won’t be it.

We already know it’s a number greater than 4 losses per season.

Fisher will be fine as long as he has a qb to blame…

The Aggies have had 1 season this century with more than 9 wins. They’ll take Jimbo’s 8&4 and love it like they always have.

We just beat your arse with far less talent.

You’re clearly not a critical thinker.

Only way he is on the hot seat next year is with a losing record. He can ride out 8&4 seasons as long as he keeps the recruits coming. Aggies know their station in life but they like to pretend and contend for offseason championships.
