Your defense blows chunks and you didnt even lose the entire starting unit plus change schemes

The offense is pretty good. The defense is from attrition and bad coaching.

WE are exhausted. WE only have 68 scholarship players on our team. We decided to take a year off. We will be back in 2021.

The past off-season made "Murphy was an optimist." seem optimistic. Down to 70 scholarship players with very little experience + abbreviated practice.
Idk if I can blame Orgeron for the player attrition in this bizarre off-season, but he made an awful, terrible, horrible hire with Pelini in an attempt to get an older coordinator who wouldn't leave like like young guns Brady and Aranda did. Pelini wasn't even that good at LSU imo and at that time there were few SEC offenses that really scared you. His defenses consistently sucked at Nebraska and he was at an FCS program in 2019. CEO needs to own his mistake and stop worrying about losing assistants, it happens all the time.
