I know there are other threads about aTm but I dont want to sift through them. What is the general feeling about aTm? What do people in your circles say.

I'm excited, and I dig the Aggies.

I don't like all the threads though.

Instead of 13 teams I wish we could just trade TSDS for them

Horrible school, horrible fans, horrible state. It's not too late to rescind the offer.

Among my crowd, our feeling is that while we generally look down upon their extreme nerdiness, we like having them as a counterweight to those assholes in Austin.

I've always said that the University of Texas at Austin is the most communist athletics program in the country. I don't have time to go into all of thoughts on that subject this morning, but suffice it to say, I don't like them.

According to many of the mouthbreathers on here, we are all gay b/c or corps of cadets, who make up 1,500-2,000 out of 50k students do goofy things and like to haze eachother.

I'm tired of my fellow Ags trying to explain ourselves to everyone on this board. I don't give a frick about the other school's traditions, I just want to watch the games and tailgate at their schools

Excited. LSU may now finally have a true rivalry game instead of a fabricated one.

I like the move, think they bring a lot to the table for the SEC. Can't let up on them on the RANT though cause they are still candy arse noobs with big hairy manginas ....

It might not be ... but those that remember starting the year each season at an A&M vs LSU game will remember some great games that each side wanted to win.

We'll have to see if it develops again ...

If you have a hard time with one persons opinion you are not going to have a decent time here....

If it were up to me, I'd keep the SEC at twelve. It isn't, so A&M does seem like the best fit.

Plus, why would you pass on an opportunity to frick the Longhorns?

LSU has a history of playing A&M through the mid-90s and long before Arkansas was a member of the SEC. I think it could become the two schools' biggest rivalry if UT/A&M is no longer an annual matchup.

An article from the Times Pic prior to the Cotton Bowl last year talking about the rivalry:

LSU/A&M

You people will hate them once you realize how weird they are. Then there's gonna be a hundred threads called "What have we done?"
