Kiffin had mustard, beer, and golf balls thrown at him because he had his players flop like flounders every play in Neyland Stadium.
Not a good look for UT, but Kiffin was a bitch and probably deserved it.

I think it is 50-50 if he wins over .700 percent at LSU. But completely get their excitement, I would be excited to see the future if he was coaching UF.

I think he's a great offensive coach, and I hated when LSU had to play him. I'm hoping the combination of that plus LSU can do something magical. I expect him to do what the past few LSU coaches (minus BK) do which is ramp up every few years and make a run, but otherwise have a decently high floor.
But really, I think the biggest thing for me is that the product on the field will be entertaining again! These last two years under BK, for me at least, it just felt like all the joy was sucked out of the sport. I didn't like watching the team play. But a character like Kiffin and a brand like LSU should make for some must see TV.

I view LK the same today as I did 12 months ago
1) Best play caller in college footba
2) Top 5 recruiter , NIL, roster manager
3) Top 1 college QB developer
4) Borderline shite show personal life
5) Top 1 social media shite talker
The only difference is I think his game day decisions making is much better today than in 2024. He clearly showed that during 2025.

When Saban hired him these idiots shat all over him. Many LSU fans gave the credit for USC’s offensive success under Carrol to Sarkisian instead of Kiffin.

Everyone hates Lane until he’s their coach. They dogged him like everyone else. They’re just tired of being a whipping boy in the sec. It changes your perspective at least until or unless he does something stupid.
