How cool would it be to see Texas win a natty on their way into the SEC?

LSU is really putting Matthew 6:24 on notice.

It could happen. This is probably the first time I genuinely don't know which of the four will most likely win.

Milroe has played like shite the last 2 weeks. We really don't know what we have with Michigan. Texas appeara to be in beast mode, but their opposition has been trash lately. Washington is a wild card with a QB who can look pedestrian and all-world in the same game.

It would certainly be interesting to see them win it, but I think the general idea (much like Florida State) is that an entire season of playing in this league is the difference.

Maybe we make too much of that, maybe we don't.

But Texas is hitting their stride at just the right time, so I guess we'll see next season.

This year, Texas played like 6 or 7 top 30 teams in the Sagarin rankings. Texas SOS was basically the same as Alabama's, in the top 10. So it won't make a shite.

The SEC has plenty of shitty teams. And unlike the lower tiered Big 12 teams, many SEC shitty teams run boring and unsophisticated offenses so they are no threat to beat you when their QB gets hot.

The ongoing love fest between LSU and Texas on this site is baffling to me.

Lol he's not even smart enough to realize that Texas winning a title should be the last thing LSU people want to see. That would be worse for y'all than Bama winning given you recruit against Texas head to head more than probably anyone else.

This is the first year since moving to a 4 team playoff that any of the 4 has a great shot at winning it all. Burnt orange glasses off I have no idea who I'd pick to win it all right now.

If Bama gets Texas again it won't be the same Bama team they played in September. Not even close and this time it'll be a VERY highly motivated Bama team looking for payback.

If Texas thinks it'll go like it did before, think again.

NIL has changed that. It's about money now and who can buy the pieces they need to compete for championships.

Bama needed a miracle to beat a bad Auburn who lost at home by 3 TDs against a team from somewhere in Mexico. That was 8 days ago.

Bama in October beat a bad aggy team by 6. And escaped against a 4-8 Arkansas team at home by 3.

This narrative that Bama somehow turned into a late season juggernaut is laughable.

Bama had bad games in September, October, and November.

Or is the total disdain for pitiful aggy on this board closer to the truth?

That’s no where close to true. Them winning a natty wouldn’t make a difference one way or the other in LSU recruiting.

Isn't Texas like 9-2 vs Alabama, with Bama squeaking out 2 their 2 wins vs backup QB's the whole game

Im sure Texas is scared, they own Alabama

In fairness to the OP, he's just hating on Alabama.

I think LSU hate for Texas will be ripe and ready next year.
