Pbbbssshht. The Auburn team with those three was terrible. They were held to 10 points or less 5 times.
No shite. I'l give you one guess as to one of the boneheads calling plays...

lol...who was saban's first pick with the dolphins..2nd pick in draft ronnie brown...saban took over the dolphins when they were the 2nd worst team in the league.immediate turn around to 8-8 ish team which was at the time 2nd best in nfl history ..then the same under the cloud of bama rumors....and he had crap at qb....great nfl coach...he left because his wife wanted their son out of the miami environment

Because Tubs actually tried to spread the talent rather than grinding it with one workhorse
This might be the overall stupidest and least supported by facts narrative that occurs on tRant. And that’s saying something

SDS sucks and Chubb and Michel are no. 1 easily.

Why are people coming in this thread about the best duo of all time and suggesting a trio was better?
That's like comparing Kobe and Shaq to the Dream Team

Ah, the good ole days when Bama was sanctioned and auburn could sign everybody.
Seems like only 15 years ago.

Auburn had much better signing classes after Bama finally came off probation. Tuberville hardly sniffed the top-10 those years.

But Tubbs did what he did without the need of all 5*s.

I offer up Neal Anderson, John L.Williams, and Lorenzo Hampton on the mid-80s Gator teams for consideration.

Pretty sure that was Hugh Nall calling the plays, with Ensminger in his ear.
Damn what a terrible offensive staff that year.

Hard to argue with any of those tandems. My favorite Bama duo of the current era was Lacy and Yeldon in 2012. They could've run forever with that line if the OC wasn't a half-wit.
