Not bad at all. Clemson was supposed to make the playoffs. OSU had recent pedigree entering the season with a frick ton of NFL talent.

LSU under "the shrimp boat captain", "Ogre", "coonass" had no shot at beating Bama (ask bama/aggy fans) or playing in the SEC title. game. Nope, no way that O guy would beat Mullen or Kirby a second time.

Fun season all the way around for LSU fans. At this point it's all lagniappe.

Almost as bad as when the barners choked on Jameese’s crab legs the last time they danced

What happened the last time LSU danced?

ETA was that the game you didn't cross the 50?..........or was that a different different game?

Touche’ that one was bad and it was was before fans really understood the stupid rolling around in Les’ head. The worse thing about 13-0 / 21-0 is we got stuck with buffoon for 6-7 more years. The best thing about crab legs is aTm is stuck with a fake for 5-6 more years

Ugh, we won twice. Currently 2-1 in National Championship games in NOLA.

LSU did cross the 50 yard line once, then ended the drive behind it.

They’ve had a great season.
A loss won’t hurt ‘em—provided it isn’t a blowout.

Losing in 2011 wasn't a big deal because they lost, it was a big deal because of the way they lost. It exemplified everything a lot of us hated about Les Miles and his stubborn prehistoric offense and his constant meddling, favoritism and buffoonery

Even if we lose the NC game, hell even if OU upset us, this season can be considered nothing but an incredible success

Uh no, it will be a huge letdown and the season will be as meaningless as all the other non CFPO teams.

The Cinderella season and one hit wonder will be mocked for a long time

It will be much less of a letdown than you're wanting it to be.
LSU is playing with house money.

We have won THREE national titles in games played in NO. Beat Clemson in 1958, Oklahoma in 2003, and Ohio State in 2007. We are 3-1 in nat title games played in NO.

Actually, that Clemson game was not a national title game, although it did culminate a national title year. Until 1965 the championship was awarded before the Bowl Games.

Brother, I read your post and I see your team/university affiliation. All I can think of now is Pat Dye (or was it Pat Tie) in the '88 Sugar Bowl (1987 football season).

They’re guaranteed gonna drop the ball in NO if they don’t frick it up against Oklahoma. They’re not better than Clemson or Ohio State and I think they know that deep down.

That’s laughable. This team had more swag than any team they faced. Then they fricking proved all year long.
Beat the preseason Top 4; seven teams ranked in the Top 10 at the time they played; 5 teams who finished in the final Top 10 and 7 in Top 25.

As for the OP, his envy is so great he had to speculate at the internal joy he would feel if LSU lost.
