What if they lose to Clemson or OSU either one in NOLA. That would mean 2 times everything timed out perfect for them to WIN a National Championship in NOLA and they blew it?

No way they’ll lose to OU.

Still would have the “honor” of having beat Auburn’s arse 10/13.

Not that terrible considering there are hundreds of teams that are not in the playoff

Even if that happens LSU still owns the SEC and AU has beat them just once since 2015. So still a much better program than yours.

We have won THREE national titles in games played in NO. Beat Clemson in 1958, Oklahoma in 2003, and Ohio State in 2007. We are 3-1 in nat title games played in NO.

It would suck but I don’t think it would be the disaster the loss to Bama was.

Even if we lose the NC game, hell even if OU upset us, this season can be considered nothing but an incredible success.

It proved Ed is up to the task and belongs in his position. It proved we can beat Bama and win the SEC. it proved we can be a force on the offensive side of the ball.

shite happens in playoff games and while as a fan it would really be disappointing to not win it all, just getting there is a critical step for the future of the program.

But... yes I’ll be salty as frick for a good while if we come up short.

It would suck, but it would not be a program killer like 2011 was.

I want to win it all, bad, but if we come up short I would still be proud of the team.

LSU 7-3 this decade against AU.
Getting there and losing is better than not getting there at all. AU should know this.

They’re guaranteed gonna drop the ball in NO if they don’t frick it up against Oklahoma. They’re not better than Clemson or Ohio State and I think they know that deep down.

Haters gonna hate... No matter what LSU does the rest of the season we already accomplished more than all of the other SEC teams.

I think all of the other Rantards expect some kind of meltdown if LSU loses some most LSU fans are just happy to have a shot.
Successful season no matter what happens from here out.

Hey Auburn fan... The SEC Championship is played right down the road in Atlanta EVERY year, and the baseball Championship is played in Birmingham, right down the road EVERY year. So should we now count all of those non-wins against you?

What bowl is auburn in this year ? I honestly can’t remember but I do remember LSU is in the college playoffs. An accomplishment auburn has yet to obtain.
