I am mid 30’s. I have had countless girlfriends and slept with around 100 women.

I can’t name one girlfriend or girl that I dated or even slept with who could cook.

That’s literally all I want. A wife who can fricking cook.

I’ve had girlfriends whose mothers could cook insanely well. NEVER got passed on.

I’m not bashing modern women. But if you are seeking a traditional SAHM who can cook? Not happening.
UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL

this is just a general gripe

“Oh you weren’t home at 11:32am to sign for your package? Here is a door tag with no boxes checked on what we are doing with your delivery!”

Ok I suppose I will go on line and track the package

Open website. Tracking isn’t the FIRST thing to see. You have to navigate to it.

“Please type in the tracking number….

…. Thank you. We see your package was undelivered today. Please select an option.”

Ok hm let me click reschedule delivery!

“Ok! First you must log in to your account!”

Try like eight different usernames and passwords.

“Your account is locked!”

Have to email the site to send you a new password. Then log in again! Track the package again. Then click the option again to reschedule a delivery.

It’s absolutely bonkers. I always wondered if you were like a 90 year old who doesn’t know how to use the internet…. Like 50% of your packages would just end up in limbo or sent back.
1. Violent crime

2. Weather events

3. Corruption

4. No viable CORPORATE jobs

5. Old money New Orleans aristocracy

6. Entrenched black voters

7. Transplant white liberals

All of these factors work together to suppress the potential of New Orleans. And some people like it like that.

New Orleans isn’t a city. It’s like a territory, a reservation, a bubble, its own weird world… where everyone believes it is the end all be all.

I guarantee you nobody in Atlanta cares about what Mardi Gras krewe you ride in.

I don't understand the logistics of this attack.

Did they enter from the elevated ridge where the zip line starts? That would make sense to come in from an elevated position and shoot down the hill. And I think that's what's happening as you can see those people running down the hill away from the ridge.

HOWEVER at the end of the zipline you can see a dead body lying there. And the zipline rider corroborated on the news that the terrorists were there asking people their religion and then shooting them in and around the area where that dead body is.... but it seems weird that shooting happens at the bottom of the hill, and then the top, and people are running to where the shooting began? Or that there are already bodies at the bottom of the hill and no terrorists present indicating the shooting had been going on for a minute or two allowing the terrorists to move to a new area on foot.... yet nobody is freaking out yet? I just can't discern how this attack played out?

I honestly waffled on buying tickets because he notoriously is late for his sets. This isn’t shocking in the least. He may not even be in the city.
She also does this stunt - with this other girl - they literally just post their public location and anyone can come and frick them.

They just sit in a room and whoever shows up I guess signs a waiver puts on a condom and then goes to town.

I honestly think this is frankly the most revolting thing I have ever seen.

Yes I am guilty of having plenty of extra-marital sex... yes it was fun... but also it does ruin your brain to some extent.

There is a direct correlation to divorce rate and how many sexual partners each had before marriage.

That isn't an accident.

Sex saturates your dopamine and oxytocin receptors. Your feel good receptors and your emotional bonding receptors.

The more your brain experiences that rush the more it views it as nothing new and exciting and down regulates those receptors. And suddenly you can't form a loving emotional bond with anybody.

She has taken the most sacred spiritual closest connection we have to anything holy in this physical realm... and turned it into a "grab a number and get in line" factory assembly line of random faceless cock.

I know she did 100 in a day... idk about 1000.

But still.

Her brain is objectively definitively broken. Permanently.
Dude is just doing drugs

You can love Jesus and still participate in some recreational drugs while at a music festival
This isn’t the world you grew up in Gramps

And yes my friends who like to party much heavier than I do carry it on them as well

re: Have you ever seen someone die?

Tons of times

I had to try and resuscitate a guy who got Swiss cheesed up on Claiborne avenue one time.

We found a baggie of crack and some miscellaneous pills and hundreds shoved up his arse

I was doing CPR and with each compression bits of his brain would spill out onto my shoes

The only one that really ever fricked me up was the kid.

Dad was driving. Fell asleep at the wheel. Car ran off the ramp and just crashed into the ground. EMS got the 9 year old girl. She was conscious and responding to questions but suddenly started to lose pulses. Huge seatbelt sign. Massive internal bleeding. Lucas device was on her and luckily I was able to intubate her small trachea with all the movement. Tried CPR for like 30 minutes. Pupils were fixed and dilated. She was gone. Having to tell the family … that one was the worst. Stuck with me a while.

Had a woman found down in the back of a restaurant. Nobody knew how long. Started CPR and she started vomiting like coffee ground emesis (honestly looked like chewed up chocolate cake). We lost the airway. Couldn’t intubate though all that mess. Eventually lost pulses. Probably mesenteric ischemia.

I saw an 80 year old man choke to death on his nursing home dinner. The dumb nurse who got to the code before me started bagging him with oxygen before checking to clear his airway. Shoved all that food so far down his trachea I was trying to suction out a full Golden Corral buffet in his wind pipe. Ended up shoving my entire hand down his throat trying to get all the food out. There was so much. Couldn’t get it. He started turning blue and I couldn’t get him back. Always check the airway first. Please.

Geography was the main reason

No. It wasn’t.

That’s the “magic soil” fallacy.

Civilizations didn’t sprout up in areas where there was magical soil that somehow was able to make forming advanced civilizations possible. If anything the magical soil would BE Africa.

It has everything to do with the people inhabiting said soil.

re: Colonoscopies. Yes or no?

Colonoscopies are something I do yearly

I have a genetic condition that basically guarantees I get colon cancer

Colonoscopies have saved my father and older sisters life

This is a very stupid thread but on par for the machismo baw “doctors are stupid” type threads on the OT

Auto painting in New Orleans?

Posted by Delacroix22 on 4/12/25 at 2:40 pm
I have some very faint scratches and imperfections on my car. And it’s driving me crazy.

Anyone have any recs for like getting these chips and scratches repaired? Repainted? A vinyl wrap? Not sure who to call or what the best avenue is.

Appreciate any input.
