Man I am pumped for that first game. It's going to be so loud. The new expansion and both Jumbo-trons are going to trap so much noise

I feel the same way. I cannot wait to hear the differece at Kyle with a closed in endzone and corners, the overhang, and fans closer to the field.

Road trips just got that much harder at Tiger, Kyle, & Wade.

Keep in mind, that 6K is a net gain. The bleachers that previously occupied the north endzone held about 3K. The new expansion structure holds around 9K.

Plus there are suites on the top and at the bottom at field level

LSU Tiger fans have already heard the difference in how Tiger Stadium will sound with the south end zone enclosed...

I can't wait for my trip to Baton Rouge this year it's going to be a great game and I believe it's the first SEC game in the new expansion

You're correct. September 20th, TBD.

Y'all's stadium is already loud with the cowbells. Now you won't be able to hear yourself think.

I know its steel framing but I don't give a damn. Kyle looks damned impressive and I have a hard time fathoming the vast changes in just 7 months.

Hell, I remember the horseshoe at the north end.

It's both an amazing story and an amazing achievement. And that's true of both of the SEC's newest teams.

Texas A&M and Mizzou, both leaving their old conference behind, both leaving their fiercest rivals behind, taking a big hit in revenue for a year, then getting the big SEC payout.

And now, both schools are expanding their stadiums. An amazing story!

I wasn't very old, but I still remember the eternal flame and being able to see the scoreboard through the tunnel while standing at the Rev graves. I also remember Deware and the swimming pools.

When I was very young, I'd go with my older brothers it get free horseshoe tickets - they'd give them out for free at Dairy Queen. My, how times change!

I worked out in Deware, played water polo in the pool outside there and had some amazingly shitty tickets in the horseshoe.
Good times.

ETA: States place looks great. That's a well done renovation.

You can see the new(ish) workout facility, bright complex, and indoor track. Kyle and the biggest tv in cfb looms above.
