Not really sure about us except we aren't beating anyone if both the defense and running game aren't clicking. I am hoping the defense made a turnaround in the TX game and it wasn't just Arch playing really bad. Those are usually the games we make opposing QBs who are struggling look like stars against us.

For Mississippi State, just have no real idea how good or bad they are. The schedule was ratchetting up nicely week by week, and the Kamario Taylor and Fluff Bothwell get injured.

Taylor hobbled against Bama and out against LSU and Bothwell out against both was a huge let down. I really wanted to see if they could give those teams a run for their money.

Hoping for bounce back to an 8-win season, but I need to see the injury report starting tonight. Arnett's defense is mid at best, so no offense makes for a poor outlook the rest of the season.

Yeah, I figured out what watching Will Stein coach is like.

It's like watching a Mentos commercial.

The goal was always 5-1 headed into the Texas game. Expected the L to come against the Tigers not the Gators. This Saturday in Austin will be tough. I expect a response from Sark and the Longhorns. If you told me Ole Miss down 4 with 2 minutes left and Trinidad having the football I'd take it right now no questions asked.

Of course I am disappointed that we lost 2 games. But, as I said coming into this season, I was not as concerned about the win/loss record as I was about how Lane would coach the team with what should be better players and coaches. So far, I haven't really disagreed with many calls that he's made. The one thing that I do hate is when we drive all the way down the field inside the 5 or 10 yard line and here come all of these backup players and defensive players trying to do some bullshite when the regular shite is working. But, all in all, I don't have many complaints to be honest.

We are good enough to beat anyone and everyone in the country

We are also inconsistent enough to lose to any decent team out there. Especially away from Tiger Stadium

LSU has had really key injuries to some of our best players and should have still beaten Kentucky. We have great stats on offense and defense but have to put it together in crunch time and on the road.

We could lose 2-3 more or win out. I have no idea.

Wrong QB with average OL leads to poor offensive numbers against most SEC defenses.

The more I think about it, the more I think State is pretty similar to what they were last year with a more mobile QB and a slightly improved defense. Ol Blake Shapen took a lot of crap (and a lot of hits), but I don’t remember him throwing that many interceptions. He would’ve been pretty good with a decent offensive line, I think. When KT isn’t a run threat, he doesn’t appear that much superior to Shapen. Poor Shapen had like 2 seconds to throw and was a pocket QB. KT will throw a lot of picks when he’s immobile. Hopefully he’s back Saturday and can move a little if he has to.
