Well, LSU fans seem determined to remind everyone that their relevant seasons ended early.

With the possible exception of Notre Dame, Alabama has the largest (sidewalk) fan base in the country. They will always be given the benefit of the doubt when it comes to scheduling, playoffs, etc. TV audiences drive these decisions. This year was a perfect example. They know it’s true. There’s no need to beat a dead horse.

Who is on Texas schedule for 2026? Any tougher than the last 2 years "soft" initiation?

The Red Elephant Club definitely did their job politicking to the league office this year knowing they would be breaking in a new starting QB.

What is even more important than this is making sure that every single opponent Alabama faces, all season long, has a bye week before their Alabama game.

This, according to prevailing wisdom, evens the playing field and acts as an preventative measure against Alabama dominating everyone into oblivion.

The SEC has been very good at working with the scheduling of opposing SEC AD's and helping them schedule this properly, so they don't get confused and accidentally play another team the week before they play Alabama.

Losses are only forgiven to whom the media decides to forgive them to. Historically that’s been bama. Only team I’ve ever seen been able to win 2 natties without winning their own division.

The media didn't give anything to Alabama. Alabama earned that respect. You need to show respect too. Bow down!

UGA and Michigan don't have the prestige of Alabama. That prestige was earned with over a century of domination and excellence and blood, sweat, and tears.

You have to reward excellence, not because you necessarily want to do it but, because it is the right and honorable thing to do.

Don't be jealous; be happy for Alabama and joyous that you get to even watch them play. It is a treat.
