vs East Carolina
At Kentucky
vs Florida St
vs South Carolina
at MS State

The Red Elephant Club definitely did their job politicking to the league office this year knowing they would be breaking in a new starting QB.

I wonder why Saban never mentioned the real atrocities that have gone on in the SEC for the past 30 years when talking about fairness. Scheduling, Officitaing, media bias, etc has caused more “unfairness” than anything that has gone on with NIL and the transfer portal.

and 5 of their last 7 games are

UGA
@Tenn
aTm
@LSU
Auburn

It's the SEC, everyone's (except texas' first 2 years, somehow) gonna have a really tough schedule. Whether it's at the front or the back who cares

Meh we’re the dumbasses for playing tough games early when the committee has shown it doesn’t reward it.
Get a Purdue or Boston College on the schedule and be done with it.

It’s not about being a pussy it’s about doing what it takes to give yourself the best chance to get in.

Definitely matters. I’d rather play Auburn Kentucky and/or state in September than ole Miss and A&M with breaking in a brand new staff/players.

Every team has major turnover now, there’s also a good argument to be made that September losses are forgiven far more than Oct/Nov losses by the committee.

Losses are only forgiven to whom the media decides to forgive them to. Historically that’s been bama. Only team I’ve ever seen been able to win 2 natties without winning their own division.

Yeah I guess that makes sense if you ignore all statistical and objective data related to how good those teams were or the quality of the division they played in relative to other teams.

You know, the things you look at when you aren’t a biased fan trying to rationalize why a team you don’t like had success.

LSU is the favorites to play Georgia in the SECCG. Why thinking about Bama's schedule so much

23’ UGA lost 1 game in 2 years and didn’t get a rematch. 06’ Mich lost 1 game to a rival and didn’t get a rematch.

Bama didn't schedule Troy at home.

AD deserves a raise for avoiding that loss early in the season.

I’ll never understand people getting upset about other schools schedules. It’s the weirdest thing.

If it makes you feel better they're probably all going to kick off between 10AM and 1PM. Going to be well done come October.

I have one for ya: 2007 LSU lost TWO games and still got awarded a spot in the NC game.
