Y'all have got to be dumb as fricking shite if you think we were the ones turning him down. At no point were we ever in the running for Mike Gundy. Not in 2010, not in 2012, nor in 2017. He clearly says it in the article. We were his gold mine. Any time we had a vacancy his agent would float that he was interested. Tennessee was being cheap all throughout last decade, mostly because they'd stupidly give extensions and raises for not winning frick all.

He is a coach who has only had one losing season in 17 seasons, and that was his first season. He's taken them to 16 straight bowl games.

I believe you. They are paying him 7.5 million a year to make bowl games, agents play these games all the time.

Gundy is a fricking hell of a coach, and basically invented the practice of stating your pronouns. Quite a visionary in hindsight. I was pulling for a Gundy hire at Arkansas prior to BB and SP.

He claims he was legitimately interested each time but I don't think he ever was. It was always about a paycheck/leverage at Oklahoma St. but ADs knew that not interviewing would be malpractice on the off chance he was actually interested.

Thank god we actually have a real AD now once again. The level if incompetence at the top was staggering. Makes you wonder if Hamilton was being paid off by Bama or someone after Fulmer was canned in 2005.
