You couldn't have posted this in the "Scott Cochran" thread?

Why? He wanted to start his own thread about it and we have unlimited space on this whole interwebs thingy. If a man wants to start a thread, let the man start a thread.
Viva la threads!!!!

On offense, yes.

It was upperclassmen on the defensive side of the ball that finally stopped Georgia's offense.

Upperclassmen on defense were sorely lacking by the end of the 2019 football season due to injury.

So 10 and 2 next year? Because that’s “how good Alabama is”.

I’ll say that having staff turnover anywhere is not good

I’m not looking forward to a new hire but I am hoping to see a kid not put on 50+ pounds in a summer that they arrive

He obviously left because he knows Nick Saban is a short-timer. Hence, he needs to find a new home.

My take is that UGA just hired a coach away from Bama that Bama cannot replace, and the entire Bama nation knows it. Don't know what all he'll do at UGA, but Bama's soul was just ripped out.

Chris Low:
In talking today to Nick Saban, he’s quick to credit Scott Cochran for what he meant to AlabamaFTBL. But Saban also told me Cochran wanted to pursue a new career path as an on-the-field coach, which Saban understands, but Saban wasn’t ready to go that route with him at Bama.

Does the yelling really work?

I would think the type of player who will be successful at the highest level of football would not necessarily need a Neanderthal constantly yelling at him.

I sort of doubt that type of stuff makes a lasting difference to a good football player.

Watch him get replaced in the blink of an eye.

Scott Cochran was an integral part of our program because Saban made him that. Saban will make the next S&C coach take on the same duties.

As far as I know the NC winning teams of the past 2 seasons didn’t have Scott Cochran on staff and they somehow managed

Top S&C coaches are a dime a dozen nowadays b/c of the pay. ESPN did a special on this.

You hired a strength and conditioning coach to oversee your special teams.

Lets keep this in perspective.
