I think this is evidence of a shift in "culture" for Alabama's football program. Really explains their ongoing decline.

I think Landon gets the last word here. He has pretty much guaranteed a win. If a player of that caliber guarantees something with that much talky-talk the week of a grudge match, it's almost written in stone. Alabama is pretty much unstoppable, and this further confirms it.

While LSU fans definitely were out of line after his decision, you cannot deny the fact that Landon Collins throws gas on the fire. He makes these comments every year and then Bama fans tell LSU fans how obsessed we are and how we need to get over it. It doesn't matter if a reporter asks him a question about LSU, etc. he still chooses to make the comments. He's free to do that, but don't whine more when LSU fans tell him to STFU

Oh please. Collins runs his mouth and talks shite about LSU all the time, as evidenced in the link. His entire recruitment he trolled the coaches and program. He's as much to blame for the attention he garners from LSU fans as they are and he clearly relishes it. I love how Bama fans portray him as some poor, benevolent victim to the big, mean LSU fans. Nobody gave Eddie Lacy, Kenny Bell, Devall etc. much grief because they didn't seek out conflict and attention by mouthing off at LSU every chance they got.

He's disliked by LSU fans because he talks shite about the program and fanbase and was a local kid. There's not some grave injustice to any of this.

LSU fans need to get over it.

You can hang a ring on his privates for all I care. He just appears to be a scumbag. HE should let it go. We are better off without a classless individual like him. He is just self-centered like too many kids today, no matter who they play for. Kids like Lacy let their play speak for itself. HE has my respect.
