Part of what makes Clemson "Clemson" and Alabama "Alabama" is that they play weak schedules. LSU just had the greatest season ever.

How many fans would give their left nut and pinky to have this season...and not worry about the future? LSU will always have the talent..so really it’s about the staff. Most programs have a lot more to worry about.

OBJ was "way" out of line! Coach "O" can lose the integrity and discipline of the program in a heartbeat by how he responds to the whole situation. If a former, Bama great did that to our guys, I would be pissed off and so too, would Coach Saban. LSU had a great season and it was about the accomplishments of the 2019 team and not OBJ who couldn't attain such glory during his time as a player for the gold & purple. Very selfish and thuggish behavior on his part.

100% agree with you.

But what does this have to do with 2019 LSU?

For Herbie to lump this in with the program over what a former player is doing is ridiculous IMO.

O cant control what this clown is doing at midfield after they finished the game.

Irresponsible article from Herbie who I typically like.

Who cares about this story, really? Who cares about OBJ handing out cash after the national championship aside from some pencil pushing NCAA jagoffs and maybe a couple disheartened Clem fans? It seems like a fluff story generated b/c the off season is basically here now. I don't see the big deal to be honest. I actually thought it was pretty funny. I mean yeah you could say OBJ should not have done it publicly or whatever, but ultimately who cares? He is sort of an ostentatious guy, he was in a celebratory mood, and he wanted to make sure these guys had some cash to party on. Big deal. People like Herbie need to get off of their high horses about stuff like this and understand that it's not a morality contest. Those guys just brought home the biggest triumph for LA since '07. And to dovetail the post game stuff that into an argument about the future of the program is just sort of stupid imo.

Meh. Herbie is fair despite what people say. McElroy is great but Herbie and Fowler are a better team.

Its pretty irresponsible to me.

This dude is the voice and face of college football to me and to have this take is absurd and makes zero sense.

Personally, I'm against camera's in the locker rooms. What they want to do in there after a game is their business. How they conduct themselves outside is a different story.

LSU completed its first undefeated season since 1959, defeating seven teams that were ranked in the AP Top 10 at the time of the meetings. Burrow won the Heisman Trophy, set the record for most touchdown passes in a season with 60, passed for 5,671 yards and accounted for 14 touchdowns in his team’s two wins in the College Football Playoff.
