Damn, Bama's LB core will be insane

I think Oregon’s LBs are ungodly and I am not going to look at Bama’s. I thought Oregon’s oline class was excellent in ‘21 and was as good as get and then looked at Bama’s.

The only way to the playoffs is to have a unicorn at qb for the have nots.

Nothing will top 2011 defense.

...except the 1992 defense which is likely the greatest in CFB history... led nation in allowing least rushing, passing, total yards and points. All eleven starters were drafted and played multiple years in the NFL.

Just replay the NC game against Maimi in the sugar Bowl. Watch that D totally dominate, intercept, George Teague run down, bury a “dynasty.” God they were fun to watch.

Please explain to the group how they do it then? Obviously it’s somehow within the rules but no one else consistently signs 27+ Recruits per year. If they back count then it has to catch up with you at some point. Bama hasn’t signed under 25 players in the last 4-5 classes.
I've heard that in the 2029, 2030 and 2031 seasons, Alabama won't be able to sign anybody, but they'll be able to accept transfers, so...

All,
Should I avoid giving the 8th grade educated slack-jawed fan of a once proud program a lesson in English?

Was set to announce Bama in February, delayed it, and then was set for OSU a couple days ago.

What does it all mean?!?

Takes a lot of balls to line the entire defense on the line of scrimmage like they did in that game. That defense was amazing.

Assuming good health, Alabama’s poised to have the best starting LB group they’ve ever had under Saban. Everyone moves well too…not many stiffs like Trey DePriest in this group.

You bama fans talk about the "best group ever" every year

Gino was quoted later as saying:

Paraphrased: I didn’t know where they were coming from

"We were taken out of our game plan, and other than that, I don't remember much," he said

.

Others were quoted
quote:

No clue," Alabama strong safety Sam Shade said. "You could see the nervousness in his eyes."

quote:

Against Miami, Alabama frequently put eight and, at times, 11 players on the line. The Crimson Tide either faked blitz or blitzed.

quote:

Alabama free safety Chris Donnelly said, "There were times he thought we were in man and we really were in zone."

1993 USF&G Sugar Bowl was a defensive masterpiece. It just doesn't get better.

The 2011 Alabama defense did that while also putting up better numbers against more complicated and prolific offenses. The 1992 Alabama defense actually fell to #2 nationally in two of the four major defensive categories after the Florida game and never regained the #1 slot in them. The 2011 Alabama defense finished ranked #1 in all four.

2019 was better

You may want that to be true for partisan legacy-building reasons but it is simply not true. The 2020 team was as good on offense and significantly better on defense and special teams. Almost all the mature talent on the 2019 team was on offense due to injuries on defense.

2019 may have an argument as the best offense in school history but teams have to play well enough on all units to win titles. The 2019 defense was so bad that they managed to let Bo Nix make every clutch play he needed to win and probably cost Alabama a rematch with LSU in the semis (that I’m pretty sure would’ve faired worse for us than the 46-41 defeat at home…not like the defense got any better after that game).

LOL Wut?

He's been set to announce for Bama since he entered the portal.

The one and ONLY reason he waited was on Saban's advice that he hold off for the NCAA to pass the instant transfer rule so he could play this fall.
