Yeah, Alabama has had some weaker OL units that they’ve done a good job of masking the deficiencies with play calling. I might get hate for this but I think 2015 OL - that won the Joe Moore award - was probably in the lower third of OLs in the Saban era. They could not pass protect worth a shite on the right side of the line. But they were a damn good run blocking OL.

I agree about the '15 line. I remember all of the negative plays and tackles for loss. They got absolutely stuffed in the title game against Clemson, as well. If Henry hadn't have been as good as he was, it would've been a lot worse.

The past 3 recruiting cycles just give me a lot of confidence in this particular position. It's just incredible the wealth of talent at every spot, and word is most of these guys can play multiple positions on the line, so finding the best fit may take some time. But it's a good problem to have.

This is true, but the problem with Florida was their air attack. Our secondary was dinked and dunked on all night by quick out passes. Their strategy was to negate our pass rush (Curry and Copeland to be specific) and it worked for the most part.

Yes. On signing day this is the number Alabama has ended with.

247 sports

Bama’s classes:
2016: 25
2017: 29
2018: 22
2019: 27
2020: 25
2021: 27

Not all those players signed scholarships, some paid their way. I'm not going to get into specifics because I'm no expert on it.

What's really hilarious is that you post a rebuttal that proves the post you quoted is incorrect.

Your very own link shows Alabama enrolling (not committed, actually enrolling):

24 in the 2016 class
21 in the 2018 class

These are the numbers from clicking on the Alabama classes in your very own 247 link.

Lest we forget, the assertion was that:

quote:

Bama hasn’t signed under 25 players in the last 4-5 classes

and since everywhere that doesn't espouse woke math, both 21 and 24 are less than 25, you've done an extraordinarily good job of proving that assertion false. Thanks a bunch.

They ran a lot of shuffle passes and draws right up the middle.

Wouldn't have happened so easily with Gregory playing.

This Tide FB Recruiting & Roster thread's first page documents how all 2018-2021 players count toward the 25/85 limits (summary) and includes pertinent NCAA Bylaws and tutorials.

LSU just can’t keep up with the Jones, or rather the Youngs.

I'd love to see you try as, undoubtedly, it'll lead to you embarrassing yourself yet again
It’s just that your dumb-as-hell arse said that Tennessee was “engrained” or established. Made me spit my beer out. What planet are you living on? Or what parallel decade do you live in?

The be engrained, you have to have staying power.

So I don't know what you think you have, here, my boy.

LSU has won three national titles and had the best season ever since your last one.

Your English is off, just a tick, since there is no word in your answer that describes Tennessee......unless Yale and Harvard are “engrained” in football as well. Nor do you qualify as blue blood. Right, my boy?

I just hope our defense improves greatly from last year. God we were so fricking bad

I think it would be hard to be worse but defense usually takes two years to install and now LSU is on their second approach in as many years. My guess it will still be rough but hard to imagine it can be as ill-equipped for modern offenses as Pelini’s approach.

Their back seven is the weakness.

If Oregon has a shot, it’s better without Henry T.

This stood out among myriad other errors as the funniest example of you (predictably) embarrassing yourself by attempting to give your superior a "lesson in English."

For what it's worth, by definition, the program with the second-most historical success of all SEC programs is more "engrained" in the Big 6 than LSU.

Do transfers count against the 25? I thought they only counted against the 85.

If so Bama is about to get 50 new players every year, like the days before scholarship limits.

now go back and read what I first said, kiddo.

or don’t.

All, this is what happens when the fanbase of a shell of a once proud program have nothing (nor linebackers, it seems)left to be happy about.

ETA. Still waiting for a red ink English markup of the previous posts that made you cry.

I will say something nice, though. Your stadium holds a lot of people.
