Yes, Vandy OM, MSU, UK, SC actually never really had any issues. Some OM fans didn't like getting rolled one year but words are just that words, who cared? I didn't.

generally if you are not a douche you'll be welcomed most places

eta: I thought this was kind of a SEC only thing but I've been to some ACC/Big12/Bowlgames/Pac10 couple times along with neutrel sites that didn't involve any SEC school

the point of that is while CFB is everywhere and most schools have passionate fans, the experience at the SEC schools really exceeds the others by a good margin.

I've been to Auburn, State, ole miss, and vandy. Out of the 4, that 11am ole miss game in Oxford 2007 or 2008 was absolutely miserable. The fans, the drive, hotty toddy, ole miss almost winning....Oxford sucked

This.

UGA was the worst when it came to treatment of the marching band. A drunk UGA fan attacked us after we beat them in 2007. Next time we went there, we had the biggest police escort I ever witnessed in all our away trips.

Ole Miss was a weird experience in 2008. Some kid was waving a Confederate flag at us when we were driving into campus, and we sat fairly close to their student section so they were talking crap at us the entire game.

As a marching band member, that was a very satisfying win.

Well you were in a band, so all of your wins in life have come vicariously through others.

I kid

I've been to several away games.

Ole Miss, crowd dispersed right after halftime bc we returned the 2nd half ko back for a td, but it was only 19-7. Weak fan base.

MSU, the way to silence cowbells is to get six interceptions en route to 45-0

Alabama 9-6, fans were great pregame, but a little testy after.

WVU was a fun tailgate, a little hostile walking in the stadium, but amazing game experience and stadium.

Tennessee has tiny seats. Emptied quickly though allowing me to stretch out.

A couple neutral site games, those are always a good time

I love pretty much any away game. Love getting to see other places and stadiums.

Several. Mostly good experiences, with a few isolated bad experiences.

Been to Tenn, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Florida for LSU games.

Oxford was the best experience by far. Cool tailgating atmosphere and easy walk to the town square. Parking was the only bad part.

Athens was okay, I don't like the drive in and out of Athens though.

Auburn tailgated with LSU alumni group so we were insulated from Auburn fans. All I remember was the students mooning our charter bus after the game but overall good experience.

Not a problem at any of them.
Fla was a day game so fans didn't have all day to drink and it was Saban's first year, the brook trout look game. It's why I've enjoyed every other victory over Spurrier since. Saban said if we don't want them to run up score after late touchdown we need to stop them.

Tenn was okay. I remember Tenn fans taunting Josh Reed's family into the stadium.

Bama is all over the map... Had some incredible times in Tuscaloosa and I've also come across some of the biggest jackasses in Tuscaloosa.

As a Bama fan, that's kind of been my experience in Baton Rouge. The incredible times have outnumbered the jackasses though, but we've also won every game I've been to in BR.

Had an LSU student give my drunk arse the wrong directions to where we were parked after the 98 game. He sent me clear across to the other end of campus from where I needed to be. Had to laugh at that one, though my GF was pissed.

What was the experience like and dealing with the opposing fans?

Been on a few but last one was Tennessee. Fans were fine but I was also with a group of Tennessee fans so that might have made things different. Mississippi State fans were great a few years ago as well.

Not counting neutral site/bowl games, I've been to A&M games at Fayetteville vs. Arkansas (2013), Columbia vs. Mizzou (2013), Waco vs. Baylor (multiple times....2004/2006/2008/2010), and Austin vs. Texas (2010).

Generally had a great time mingling w/ opposing fans (except for the Texas game).

Yeah, we don't like your type around Knoxville. And by "your type", I mean boy touchers.
