Went to all but 4 games when I was a member of the Aggie Band.
1996:
at BYU (was more than a week before my Freshman year)
at USL (complete shithole)
1997:
at Colorado (we would have had to pay our own way)
1999:
at Missouri (see 1997 Colorado game)
In terms of the away game experiences, here's how I would describe them.
at Texas Tech: The environment there wasn't as shitty as it became in the early 00's. Great parties after the fact.
at Baylor: The epitome of the word, "meh".
at Oklahoma: 1997 was boring (because we beat them 51-7). Fanbase showed their true selves in 1999 (shitty)
at Oklahoma State: pretty meh overall
at Nebraska: Great environment. The only thing that sucked was the game itself.
at Kansas State: really fun atmosphere
at Kansas: less than meh
at Southern Miss: Rained the entire game so the fanbase was subdued. We also had control the entire game
at t.u.: Shittiest fanbase ever. I'll just leave it at that.

Yeah but the 8 people who attend Miami games are monsters.

Many Tiger Band trips to neutral site games. (Jackson for Ole Miss and State, B-Ham for Bama. Houston for Rice. Superdome for Tulane. Liberty Bowl in Memphis. Tangerine Bowl in Orlando. Orange Bowl in Miami)
Only one SEC on-campus away game. (Starkville for LSU-State way back when Arnsparger was HC) Never been back and have no intention to.

Pretty much been to every bowl game/kick off in the last 10 years as well as all but three SEC stadiums.
Sometimes it's great sometimes it isn't.

I watched state beat auburn in 2012. Can you admit those cowbells are fuggin obnoxious when rung one at a time if I admit it sounds pretty cool when the bells are ringing together. The power of the bell cannot be contained. Thankfully State Sucks so much at football they haven't been taken away :)
