I saw Mizzou play at UNM in 2006 and at ASU in 2011.

The New Mexico fans are luke warm at best and were ok.

Arizona State fans are dick heads.

Living in Tallahassee, Florida, I made it to 3 UF games at the Swamp (1999 - Bama win 40-39, 2006 - Bama loss 13-28, 2010 - Bama win 31-6).

My youngest son, became a Gator fan thanks to Tim Tebow and the 2006 Bama loss (he was 6 years old). He and I attended back in 2010 wearing opposing colors and only cotton candy kept him interested in the 2010 game.

Good fans overall during 2 losses and 1 win.

Been to Alabama, TAMU, UF, and Army (along with neutral site and bowl games in Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta).

The only time I've ever had trouble was in Gainesville. So, as long as you don't act like your fratstar gator brethren, you'll be fine.

Been to every SEC School except Mizzou. UGA has become the worst and get worse every year. The best was TAMU, almost too nice. UT share a hatred for Bama, plus we miss playing every year. Ole Miss is Ok. LSU is LSU, play along and someone will offer a drink and some food. I have so many Bama friends that I tailgate with that it is hard to judge. Always a few obnoxious tide fans, but I just ignore them.

ETA: MSU is still a dump and they fans are terrible.

Gainesville. Worst tailgating town ever. Went a 2nd time just to make sure it wasn't a fluke experience. Should have kept it at 1 trip.

Beautiful campus. Shitty tailgating and some very bad fans after a win. I've been to multiple SEC stadiums and enjoy being in enemy territory and can easily take the heckling that comes with wearing tiur colors behind enemy lines. UF experienced just sucked. Jersey shore looking d-bags everywhere.

And I know there are plenty of people who feel like that at LSU games unfortunately.

Word.

I've been to every SEC stadium but Mizzou and this Swamp. Also Clemson, K-State, and th Rose Bowl, and the Georgia Dome more times than I can count. Been to five straight AU/UGA games and Georgia fans are the absolute scum of the earth.

Alabama - left us alone except for drunk frat stars looking to fight.

Arkansas - didnt even see them until 1 pm or so. It was cold so I guess everyone pregamed inside. They left us alone.

Texas A&M - left us alone except in a rude "you're beneath us" kind of way.

Ole Miss - Most in-your-face fanbase I've witnessed. Bunch of grown men trying to fight my 15 year old self.

Mississippi State - friendliest and most welcoming fanbase. Except for one incident during the game where some MSU guys came to the LSU section to stir up a fight (and then security started kicking LSU fans out en masse for whatever they deemed as instigating - i.e. clapping too loud - while MSU fans stood right behind security yelling things such as "suck my balls motherfricker.")

Auburn - I was young but seem to remember them being pretty tame towards us.

I have been to:

Arkansas= game was in Little Rock. I need to make it to one in Fayetteville.

Alabama= worse fans of them all.

Auburn

Ole Miss

Florida

Texas A&M= nicest fans ever. Don't let their fanbase on this site fool you. Their is no hate between them and LSU.

Georgia= second worse fanbase but no where near as bad as Bama.

South Carolina= game was canceled last year while I was in Charleston. I'm going to have wait 100 years until LSU goes to Columbia again.

I've noticed a fair amount of LSU fans in this thread whining about their Ole Miss experience.

You do realize ever since 2003 your fan base would come to Oxford and be obnoxious the entire weekend. Our fans finally had enough of it and are simply bringing it right back to you.

Went to the Alabama Ohio State kickoff classic game in 1986 in Giant stadium. Ohio State fans were really cool, had a great time.

Been to a bunch

UCLA maybe the oddest. They really didnt care and seemed indifferent that we were there.
Auburn- Great but I know a lot of Aubies so you pretty much meet someone you know every few minutes
Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss- No problems. Pretty cool
South Carolina- Talked more shite than I thought but they won that day.
Vandy-Never really cared but never had any problems. One jackass sat behind me and kept saying the whole time Vandy would upset us and we werent any good, etc. Halfway through the 4th he left cussing up a storm. I guess he thought Vandy would win.
LSU- Great stadium atmoshpere, best I've ever seen. Never ran into more a-holes tailgating though. Only place that after 2008 I said I wouldnt go back. It used to be ok but their fans started getting in your face more than usual in 2000 with that dumbarse tigerbait thingy. In 2008 it was unbearable. Great atmosphere in the stadium though.
Oklahoma- Great place. great fans. Cool to hang with. Knowledgeable of football. Wish we played them every year.

Best- A&M by far. Classiest fans this side of Penn State I ever met. everybody said howdy and bought you drinks.
