Properly cooked Texas Brisket (Franklin's, La Barbecue, etc.) will be one of the best things you will ever eat.

Abso-fricking-lutely. But it's got to be done right, which is very hard.

Between the brisket and the Tex-Mex, it's very hard to beat Texas cuisine.

Salty beef and beans with cheese. Yeah, that's a real tough one. God, I wish Texas would get nuked or given back to their rightful owners.

Is there any redeeming quality to adding you idiots to our conference?

You mean besides the SEC Network?

Nah, we are the SEC version of AIDS.

Brisket is the best piece of BBQ possible so that can't be true.

Yes, though I'm partial to ribs as well.

Don't get me wrong, I love brisket and Tex-Mex cuisine, but let's not act like it is the bee's knees, like Southern and Cajun/Creole cuisine.

I absolutely love devouring both of those, let's not act like those two categories aren't the easiest to duplicate

With that said, Louisiana needs to get its BBQ scene in order. We're probably the worst in the Southeast in that regard
