Started at Flagler and went all the way down to Daytona. New to Florida so please point me in the right direction. My wife who would rather sit at the beach than a pool has been severely depressed other than going to St Pete and siesta and wants to move back to MS.

The Redneck Riviera is from Fort Morgan,Al to Pensacola,Fl.
And the best looking beach in Fl is from Pensacola Beach to Navarra Beach. I think it is about 26 miles of sand.
If you ever get a chance make that ride down that beach.
PS. The Capitol of The RNR is The Flora-Bama.

True. Just shows that we really can't be friends for more than 30 seconds.

Siesta are our preference now.
Been lucky enough to spend my entire life next to Siesta Key. One of, if not the best beach in the US. Sand is 99.9% white quartz, makes it look like white powder sugar.

There is always a good mix of SEC schools around most of the beaches. However as much as I have enjoyed Hilton Head in the past I cant help but notice that its packed with folks from Ohio.
And in Destin if you walk down the beach you will find a Canopy or "tent" with every SEC school on it. Love it.

Move to Captiva Island.

Try the resort in Palm Coast for starters.
Daytona, never.
Flagler, I've not been but never heard that white trash was there.
Ormond is doable too and far enough north of Daytona that you won't get tons of "trash".
Melbourne after that.
Then Stuart.
Then WPB and beaches immediately to the north and south.
Are you looking at house rentals on the beach?

Lsupimp, I know what you mean. I've met several good people from Bama, Georgia, Tennessee, Vandy, Auburn, etc. It's always fun to mix it up with those folks.

Thanks for the help. We usually drive over in Friday and stay until Sunday when we go somewhere. Try to stay as close to the water as possible.

Honeymoon Island
Caladesi Island
Naples
Those are for the Southern Gulf Coast. More quiet than St. Pete.

I would put South Carolina beaches against anything the gulf side has to offer. Go to Folly, Kiawah, Seabrook, Edisto, Mitchellville, or any beaches on the south end of the island here in Hilton Head.

HHI is shite. You can't drink on the beach. Well legally that is.

Carolina beaches are nice. We have our pick here in Florida and Sanibel, Captiva, Palm Beach are top notch.

Head down to SPI. No Yankees.

You're going to the wrong beaches on HHI apparently. One of the reasons it is nice is because they don't let shitty tourists like you frick it up. I can take my dog out in the ocean kayak and leave all my stuff on the beach and it's still undisturbed when I get back. But yeah it's a shitty place. I really miss drunk rednecks on the beach. Not too mention we have 7.5 foot tides so the beaches are extremely wide.
