I've never been to the South Carolina beaches, but I can attest that the beaches from Jacksonville to Miami are horrible. The stretch of beaches from Orange Beach to panama city is better than most beaches in the carribean.

Have only been to Miami Beach once...Saw a few topless 6's laying out which was cool I guess, but the "talent" I was expecting just wasn't there.

Spring Break at PCB to this day is the best you'll ever find

Yankee?

How did you come up with that? All by yourself? I don't think a single person that knows me would ever even consider that as a description for me.

What ever floats your jon boat though. Clang, clang

You didn't make it to model beach then.

Miami has tons of hot womenz. You have to go around the European 6s to find them though.

Funny, because I have to wade through thousands of obnoxious hicks from AL, LA, and GA just to get back there to see family.

Christ you guys ruined that place, don't you have anywhere in your own states to vacation? You will never see so many white Expeditions with Salt Life stickers at one time.

As unimpressed as I was with Jacksonville area beaches I was even more unimpressed with most of the Ft Lauderdale/Miami area. INCREDIBLY overrated.

You need to check out other SC beaches. Some of the finest in the US.

I've heard good things about South Carolina's beaches. Having said that, I'm not sure you could pay me to visit the Myrtle Beach area. Not because it isn't nice but because of the oil spill. I live in Mobile and have literally NEVER seen an advertisement for Myrtle Beach anywhere in the area yet I started getting flooded with Mrytle Beach publications and advertisement literally days after the Gulf Oil Spill started. The Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Pensacola Beach area was devastated by the oil spill and the tourists staying away and the tacky way Mrytle Beach went after prospective tourists in the area and took advantage of the Gulf Coast's misfortune was bush league imho.

Savannah, how are the beaches there?

Thinking about taking a few days there next month.

Good, or should I just stick with South Carolina beaches?

Tybee Island has excellent beaches--one of my favorite locales.

Thanks.

I was hoping someone would say they are good. Want to try a new destination.

Might even let Paula Deen feed me an overpriced meal while I am down there.

He's grumpy and thankfully won't be on our beaches with his grumpiness.

Tybee can get pretty red. I'd go an hour south to St. Simons Island. You can thank me later.
